This Level Headed FReeper is *NOT* voting for Romney (VANITY)

Posted on 04/10/2012 6:20:28 PM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

With all of the chicanery that the GOP-E has done over the last year, and helped the media to do over the last year, there's NO WAY I'm surrendering to these creeps.

Romney is *NOT* our candidate! He's their candidate, we're NOT REPUBLICANS! We are conservatives and constitutionalists FIRST. We believe in small government! Not this big government crap that Romney has peddled for the better half of the last decade or two, and I certainly can't do any more nose holding at the ballot box.

Voting for a big government republican is the real world equivalent of cutting off my nose to spite my face. That I refuse to do.

Reforming the GOP into a small government conservative party doesn't just mean voting for the right tea partiers at the right time. It means refusing to vote for the wrong big government republicans at the wrong time. We need to starve the beast of votes. We need to teach the republican party that if they have any shot at electoral success in the future, they only have one viable path. Bold colors BOLD COLORS BOLD COLORS

Nobody could ape the chicanery of the Obama administration. This is most evil and corrupt administration that has existed. I love my family too much and am watching their lives ruined by bad policy.

It might have helped if we had a real conservative running we didn’t have to tear to pieces or make excuses for bad past behavior.

When I look at my kids and nieces and nephews, I refuse to leave them with the outcome of another Obama 4 years. As much as I wish it could have been different, I will vote for the orange juice can.

Nothing is left to lose.

An overused canard to shame you into abandoning your conservative principles and get you into lockstep.

me too!

I will NOT vote for Romney but I WILL VOTE

Make sure you vote for a GOP congress across the board, but write-in Palin for President or whoever you like

DO NOT STAY HOME!!!

I would rather see Obama with a GOP congress to cram Obamacare down his throat, than Romney and a GOP congress going along with every liberal thing he does just because he claims he is GOP too

I would rather have Romney with a republican
house and senate than Obama and a republican house
and democrat senate.

If we have both, is Romney going to veto what
ever gets passed? Obama sure would.

People who say they aren’t voting for the lesser
of two evils are sure voting for the greater evil,
and we know Obama is EVIL.

Now maybe it will come down to the convention.
I would prefer that, who knows what might happen?

Above all else OBAMA MUST GO!!!

if you live in a blue state then use for vote strategically and vote for the Green Party.

If enough people vote Green Party then they will become officially recognized, can demand participation in future debates, and will split the leftist vote.

Vote strategically: If your state is blue, vote Green!

Reforming the GOP into a small government conservative party doesn't just mean voting for the right tea partiers at the right time. It means refusing to vote for the wrong big government republicans at the wrong time.

Umm, no. Refusing to vote for Republican nominees contributes nothing towards reforming a party, it just makes the party completely ignore you. Do you see the Republican party catering to Libertarians (whom we do have a lot in common with on economic issues) in order to seize that .5% of voters that cast ballots for that 3rd party? Nope. They wrote them off.

The GOP is a political party. Pretty much everyone associated with it agrees to vote for the final nominee. That's part of the deal. Your don't have a constitutional right to join the Republican party and if you don't agree to their terms, why would they even let you in the door or ever support the candidates you do approve of? This is why you'll see virtually ALL (aside from Ron Paul who is only a gadfly using the GOP label to no useful end) Republicans endorse, campaign and support Romney - and that includes Palin, Santorum, Gingrich, Cain, Perry, etc, etc, etc.

You can start your own party, join an existing 3rd party, or just not vote (or even vote for Obama if you want to speed our national decline along). Refusing to vote for Romney the chameleon is certainly fine if you feel your conscience won't allow it - but screaming, wailing, making declarations that you won't vote for the Republican nominee will only get you ignored by the party. It won't help reform the GOP because they will simply write you off.

For far too many years I have fallen for the “if you don’t vote for Dole, it’s a vote for Clinton.” crap. I used to think the GOP-e was the party of stupid......not anymore.

They are the party of working with the dems and ensuring, even if they are not in the majority, they still thrive, we don’t.

Look at how they treated Palin, Romney’s people. Never again.

This is my opinion so not to offend anyone here.

I think one of the things Democrats have going for them is that they stick together and they will support their nominee in this case it is Obama. It is hard for Conservatives I think because they have ideals and they actually think for themselves and don't really go along with Group think mentality like the Democrats seem to do. However in order to dump Obama people must rally around the republican nominee I know it is hard but that is what you have to do. Anyone but Obama.

I would vote for our local dog catcher before the dear leader.

Me too...Tonight at a Lion's Club dinner, someone said he's voting his heart, which will be for Ron Paul. Plus, I know a bunch of people here in PA who love obama and think he's the greatest. I've gotten in arguments with old friends about obamacare. My opinion is obama has a good chance of winning, and gas will be $7 in a few years.
