Did the lawn take a long time to come back?
A home on a small lot on one of my walk routes had a burned lawn and it was a year before becoming green again. Make me wonder what it took to fix.

My lawn is a grass mix for our northeast glacial tor.
Sow a shipload of seed and hope something comes up. Scotts makes the mix, too. They know.
I’d love to have KY Blue but can’t.

When I was a small boy my mother, for unknown reasons, once insisted I drink a cup (no bone china) of tea with milk.
I finally took a sip and have never since indulged in tea and milk.
On the the other hand, coffee and milk.......

Ludgershall castle:
It missed the mincing machine of the civil war, it was already out of use by the late fifteenth century.

It is an acquired taste, I used to hate it during my teenage years, but now love it.

My husband just called and said that he bought some Scott's anti-crabgrass stuff. I don't know if it will kill everything else that's growing, too.
We have a similar grass mix. I think Kentucky Blue Grass goes dormant during hot weather, if I remember correctly.
