2nd-degree murder?

I don’t see it.

Manslaughter but he wasn’t lying in wait.

They won’t be able to sustain the argument or prevail on that charge and he can’t be charged again except through Feds.

WTF?

NO WAY can it be a Charge of that level for the situation, under the Law.

This is what happens when race-baiters EXTORT and THREATEN and get their way. It's no different than the shakedowns the Mafia used to do to business owners for "protection money".

If you're white, you have NO CHANCE of fairness when the Race Pimps get their way.

We NEED a CWII to get back to moral, civil, responsible behavior.

The killing of whites by blacks goes on as a routine event, whereas the JUSTIFIABLE SELF-DEFENSE against a black "messin' with the wrong Marine" is blown up to be a HATE CRIME/MURDER.

Gimme a break.

If true, the prosecutor may be intentionally overcharging, to make sure that Zimmerman walks.

I would guess she’s just afraid to not charge him, but won’t an acquittal result in the same sort of “unrest?”

>> They won’t be able to sustain the argument or prevail on that charge

That’s my belief, too.

According to a recent thread, the first step is a hearing, at which the judge *could* reduce the charge (or drop charges altogether) if the evidence doesn’t support the charge.

I wonder if Ms. Corey believes in her prosecutor’s heart of hearts that a 2nd degree murder charge is warranted — or if she’s “gaming” it by overcharging him, hoping to appease all sides — or if she has shamelessly surrendered to the race pimps and, like Pilate, “washed her hands” of the matter.

Time will tell.

Prayers up for Mr. Zimmerman. I already donated to his website; he’s going to need it now more than ever.

Are you seriously kidding me? Does she have information the rest of us don't have? Or is she just kowtowing to the mob rule mentality?

Based on what we have, I would say the latter.

2nd degree charges? Unwinnable...and she knows it. The feds get six months to sit around and avoid discussing the case for their episode after this fails.

Manslaughter would have been simpler to put into court...but he wouldn’t have gotten more than ten years...which wouldn’t have made anyone with the kid’s family happy.

This former Prosecutor agrees .. again, based on what I see which is almost always not the full story. Manslaughter was an easy call. This surprises me.

As long as they have him locked up they get a chance to kill him. That's all that counts at this point.

He never should have turned himself in. They'll be pissing in his food. I would have shot myself rather than get drawn and quartered publicly.

Yeah, I saw the announcement on the five a few minutes ago. It's a ridiculous charge. I'm kind of having to decipher things, so I'll just say that:

Holy crap, I'm watching it now, and she the prosecutor is pleased as punch. It is disgusting. She is concerned only about justice for Martin, in her words.

I cannot believe her cavalier attitude in this conference. It is absolutely disgusting.

does anyone trust a judge in a lower court to protect the second amendment?

The prosecutor was cherry picked to ensure charges are brought.

Our ownly course of action is for EVERYONE here to serve on jury duty since we will not know if it is being moved to another FL city. If this is moved to any “blue zone” then the fix is in.

Don’t worry. Sharpton’s lynch mobs will go berserk again anyhow when Zimmerman’s attorneys file for change of venue. They’ll demand that Zimmerman get a jury of their peers.

Maybe she is angling to get Zimmerman to accept a plea bargain down to manslaughter and a promise he won't be put into the general population. Alternatively, we will make sure that you get killed and your family served up to the mob.

Ms. Corey is as big a coward as the governor who appointed her. Now she will try her best to get a conviction and if, by some miracle, Zimmerman is acquitted, she can call a press conference and state how sure she is that she did the right thing and how sure she is that Zimmerman should have been found guilty and how she would do it again if given the chance, blah, blah, blah.

The only people with any balls were the cops who didn’t arrest Zimmerman. And that cost the C.O.P. his job.

The media circus she is purposely building with this ‘sensational trial’ will suit the bastard in chief, little barry bastard to a tee. Racist vermin they are. It’s not clear to me that she will be the one prosecuting the case.

I was under the (perhaps mistaken) impression that her only job was to decide whether to bring charges.

Do you know for sure?

"WAY overcharged."

Absolutely. Definite overkill.

Makes me wonder if she plans on offering him a deal. They'll be hard-pressed to prove the charges, and where will the guy be able to get an unbiased jury? I hope Zimmerman gets himself a good criminal defense lawyer who slaps them all upside the head.

This falls into “heat of moment” and any murder charge requires malice and forethought.

If they get 3-4 blacks on the jury to scream RACISTS to anyone else who votes not guilty they will make it stick.

Anything less than a guilty verdict will result in rioting. I hope they delay the trail for a few months so I get get ready and get a couple more guns.

The day of the verdict I’ll have to park my car in the gargage, to many black people, MOSTLY GOOD, to leave it outside to get vandalized.
