5:44EST BREAKING on CNN/Blitz show: Correspondent Mark Nejame reports that George Zimmerman is "in custody of FLDE". Reports are that he was indeed out of state but "surrendered voluntarily" when he heard that charges would be filed.

Actually the father did call the Sanford police the next day to see if his son had been arrested. The detectives went to his house and he identified a picture of trayvon. It’s one of the fabrications of this case that “the child laid in the morgue for 3 days while his loving parents searched in vain for their honor roll student”.
This woman makes Florida look awful...what an embarrassment. Absolutely NO professionalism. Real prosecutors must be cringing all across the country...

Will never get a second degree murder conviction. At best, it would be voluntary manslaughter. Prosecutor is overreaching in this case, if there is a case at all.
And, does anyone else think this woman prosecutor is enjoying the attention she is getting way too much. She sure is smiling a lot for such a serious criminal allegation.
I would think after the Casey Anthony case that alone would make Florida look bad, this even tops THAT..Corey is just after her 15 min of fame, disgusting isn’t it..maybe she’s charging him with 2nd degree murder because that way she can say she did her job no matter what happens

The prosecutor is “freakishly happy” because she is up for re-election and she can parlay this into votes. The first thing Zimmerman’s attorney needs to do is demand a change of venue. Zimmerman will never get a fair trial in Sanford area. Trayvon’s unmarried parents, who are now splitsville I guess as the father has his fiancee in the development where Trayvon was living while waiting out his suspension from school, will now get to sue the home owners in the development, and the state, and, etc., etc. Sickening.
