The TRUTH is that for every black male killed by a non-black male, THIRTEEN are killed by a black male. The TRUTH is that black males are their own worst enemy.
Your instincts are accurate. Ron Unz, the sponsor of the initiative to ban bilingual ed in CA, has an essay with data that suggests Hispanics offend at about the same rate as whites, when the numbers are age-adjusted. Black crime rates are simply off the charts. Poor areas that have majority Hispanic or white populations do not have anywhere near the crime rates of poor majority black areas.

Yes, many people are to blame for poor race relations.
Right now, though, an honest older black person has to admit that the vast majority of white people have bent over backward to treat black people well. What white people get in return is often open or barely veiled hostility at best. Or much worse. Their majority culture is warped and only they can undo that.
There is NO WAY things will get better if they just rob, rape, or kill a few more white folks. It will only get worse. Someone needs to get them, but especially their young men, to understand that. Looking for reasons to hate whitey is just the easy way out. It just makes them more miserable. It shouldn't take a gun to get someone to respect you.
Hardly anyone stands up to the the gang culture that is propagated on TV, in movies, and in music. Money for producers and entertainers and clothing designers is more important than teaching their kids properly.
When we walk in our mostly white neighborhood, the kids say hello, excuse me, etc. The worst thing that happens is they throw fast food wrappers on my lawn.
Where I grew up, I wouldn't make it around the block if I went for a walk there today. It all boils down to the young black men ruining it for everyone. Anyone who says otherwise is crazy.
If we all (even black folks such as Jesse Jackson) could walk past a crowd of young black men at 10 pm without a worry (even if they don't say hello), racial tensions in this country would disappear. It's all based on crime.
They need to teach kids at home and in school, "You can't make people like you by robbing them, raping them, or shooting them."

I once lived in Asia. Blacks from Africa have nothing in common with American blacks, other than skin color.
I think Mr. Oliver is very brave to stand up for his friend. The pressure has to be enormous. I do disagree that whites are responsible. I don’t do anything in my life that causes young black men to commit crimes. People are suspicious of young black men because of the fact that a large portion of them are committing crimes. This is a fact and we have a right to be suspicious. If Amish were engaging in crime at the same rate, I would be suspicious of white men in funny clothes with beards. A good portion of black people don’t want to take responsibility for the sorry state of many blacks. Having children with no committed partner is a bad idea no matter your color. It’s epidemic in the black community. Until a majority of blacks move to traditional values of a stable family unit and the value of hard work to improve your life, then things won’t change. Not many want to say this out loud because you will be branded a racist, but it’s the truth. It’s the truth for everyone of all shades.
I’ve told this before, but I know an Eritrean woman and she and her sister are of this mindset. She moved from her neighborhood to get away as much as possible from American blacks and illegal immigrants. Her sister and the sister’s family moved to Maryland and are wary of the blacks there.
Thanks for the attached link. I live near Santa Ana, and my work has exposed me to much of the surrounding area, as well. I grew up with hispanic classmates, who are now grandparents.
An hispanic friend of mine works for the Anaheim Police Dept. in youth programs.
Other statistics prove beyond argument the extremely high violent crime rate of blacks. Higher than anybody else.
Hopefully this will be brought to the fore, although I’m doubtful.
