I think the guy that drowned was at the mouth of the Klamath river about 20 miles south of Cresent City. Cresent City is a tsunami magnet though.

They have tsunami evacuation route signs posted up here in some areas.

Now this quake is interesting.

About the area that caused one of new england’s very own homegrown tsunami.

Boy the activity has really picked up...

Living 35 miles from the San Andreas fault where it hasn't moved essentially at all for more than 120 years this all makes me a little more nervous than usual... The last time this section moved it shifted 22.5 feet relative to the other side...

One of the speakers at a recent mega earthquake preparation seminar stated “whatever gasoline you have in your tank (when the quake strikes) is all you will have for over a month.”
