Notice: Free Republic has been in full rebellion mode since 2008 and will remain in full rebellion mode for the duration!

No more Doles!! No more McCains!! No more RINOS!!

NO ROMNEY!!

Those who cannot stomach rebellion might as well start looking for a new home on the net!!

Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.

In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!!

We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!!

I'd rather fight and die like a man than bend over and be screwed by a RINO!! I refuse to kiss Karl Rove or Mitt Romney's rings!! They can kiss my rosy red ass instead!!

FUMR!! FUGOP!!

Long live the rebellion!!

Hope my message is clear.

But, if that doesn’t happen, then that post speaks my mind and it is really pretty easy to understand and why...I say so. And it is not the words you are attempting to put in my mouth.

ALL: IN two posts, I quoted Jeff as he spoke about Romney...

Jeff, I'm not taking issue with the order Romney arrived as your choice.

I'm taking issue with your prevarications about Romney re: his track record on abortion & healthcare in MA.

ALL: Read Jeff's entry @ 818 for yourself...then read JimRob's two responses (posts 1171 & 990) + my two responses (posts 1122 & 1144)

Alright, this is an improvement. We’ve got a plan from Gingrich. We can pick it to pieces, but at least we’ve got a plan.

That’s more than we had a few days ago.

Don’t put so much stock in off-the-cuff comments by politicians. Look more to their records. That’s where you’ll find the real man or woman.

People can read them and I invite them to do so.

At the same time, I hope Newt can pull it off. Right now, Newt is my choice and I hope I do not have to go beyond that.

If not, and Romney is ultimately the nominee, then I will not say any more on this board about my own decision out of respect for, and abiding by the wishes of, the owner of this board, Jim Robinson, for whom I have a lot of respect.

What was it about Pontius Pilate that you dislike the most? The fact that he tried to talk the people into doing the right thing or the fact that he let them make their own choices?

Amen!
And prayer, resolve and relentless adherence
to our very fundamental American values are
vital. Pray .. more than ever now .. in light

the Tea Party needs to commandeer the Republican party the way the American Communist Party hijacked the Democrat Party

the republican establishment elites need to dragged out of the ivory tower and thrown across the isle where they belong

Worth the reads...then you’ll have a small taste of how Newt manuvers what’s necessary to get us what we want...but without us backing him...we loose altogether...he cannot do this without people supporting and the media is doing all they can to keep him out of the picture.

The pundits were knocking Newt all over the place again....why? If he’s not a threat to them then they shouldn’t be troubled by him. But Newt opens his mouth and in come the troops..and even Obama responds...Why? We know why..he’s the only threat against them and he’s our David agains Goliath.

Now that his nomination is likely and he no longer needs to tiptoe around the tea party being careful not to offend us, watch how much distance he puts between himself and the tea party and how fast he does so.

And no one should forget that Romney's policies and actions (i.e. his jobs' initiative) as Governor of Massachusetts directly contributed to the 2008 financial crisis.

I must have forgot, the part where exercising my right to vote for a candidate other then your choice is the same as blowing up a bus full of kids. My mistake. I'm so glad I have you to remind me.

So when Sarah Palin, Newt , Santorum and any other conservatives endorse Romney, which they will, you can tell them how they're all RIno’s now. And do you have any elected or other authoritative position that decides voting for one so called RINO makes you no longer a conservative? Just exactly why do you get to make this judgment on people? I can see Jim Robinson having the authority to kick whoever he
wants off his site, but you have no business telling people they're not conservative or anything else for that matter. You don't even know me and what I've done with the Tea Party or any other conservative group. If I supported Ronald Reagan over Barry Goldwater in the 60’s (if they had been in the same primary) would I lose my conservative credentials because I voted for the more liberal one on the political spectrum? Of course I could chalk that up to youthful indiscretion as I would have been about -6 years old.

Just a little picker-upper for the boots: The day before Santorum dropped out, newt's facebook page had 195,000 likes, yesterday it had 295,000 likes. Movement.

Email From Cheryl Tracy, I believe she is with 2012:

"Thank you Santorum supporters. Newt expected 12,000 new donors and supporters when Mr. Santorum suspended his campaign and instead the Newt web site was over loaded with over 45,000 new donors and supporters. Most of us realize how difficult it is to throw your support to another campaign when your candidate drops out. You Santorum supporters are amazing Patriots. Thank you from all fellow American Conservatives." Cheryl Tracy

do me a favor though - if Romney loses - you need to STFU about anything Bama does over the next four years.

You truly do not get it, do you?

We know exactly what Obama is going to (try to) do over the next four years, should he be re-elected. We also know that the level of opposition to his Commie agenda will grow into something near to a full-scale civil war, if he pushes us any further.

Elect Romney, on the other hand, and our side won't show near the opposition to his near-identical performance in office. He's 85 mph to Obama's 100. We still wind up in the same place, but with an avowed and transparent despot in office, there will be more OPPOSITION to his transgressions and over-reach. Not so with the milk man, Romney, who will lull a Republican Congress to sleep because he's 'their guy'. They will allow him ten times the latitude that they'd allow Obama, simply because he's sporting the right jersey.

Understand these dynamics, and understand that Romney is actually far more dangerous to the long-term prospects of not only patriotic conservatism in the US, but the near-term survival of the nation as we know it.

Nope. I’m spending my money on working to elect conservatives to Congress.

Because Obama or Romney, the result is going to be awful. I’m making sure I work as hard as I can for a Congress that will stand up to socialism and liberalism, whether from the Dims or the GOP.

Sorry that truth offends you and gets in the way of a clear conscience. BTW, I have every much ‘right’ to call out Romney voters on their twisted ‘logic’ as you have in voting for him. Deal with it.

Standing back silent while moderates and libs wrecked America IS why we have Romney as the GOP ‘choice’. Not gonna do it any more. And I don’t really care if anyone short of Christ himself comes out of the political closet and backs the lib. Their actions, and your, determine what they/you really are. Moderate, Liberal or conservative.

Vote accordingly with that knowledge.

Excellent summation. "Simply because he's sporting the right jersey." Exactly. It's nice so many of our FRiends do see the bigger picture.
