Notice: Free Republic has been in full rebellion mode since 2008 and will remain in full rebellion mode for the duration!

No more Doles!! No more McCains!! No more RINOS!!

NO ROMNEY!!

Those who cannot stomach rebellion might as well start looking for a new home on the net!!

Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.

In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!!

We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!!

I'd rather fight and die like a man than bend over and be screwed by a RINO!! I refuse to kiss Karl Rove or Mitt Romney's rings!! They can kiss my rosy red ass instead!!

FUMR!! FUGOP!!

Long live the rebellion!!

Hope my message is clear.

Jim:

Many of us agree with you, and didn't need you to tell us. It's why we came to FR in the first place.

I am no Obama supporter. But I will not do a thing to support Romney.

The known indifference of Romney to the many issues you have already listed is evidence enough he would not help our country break away from this socialist spiral we find ourselves in.

Perhaps the party has to crash and burn completely so that a new party can arise from the ashes.

I remember this is what many people said 4 years ago. They stayed home and we got Obama.

Not sure this reasoning works. Well, it might if you're willing to go thru 4 MORE years of hell first with Moochelle grinning at you...a victory for her which I personally am just not willing to grant. Meanwhile all your savings could go up in smoke under 4 more years of hard-core socialism if it hasn't already.

Is that really what you got out of my post? Seriously?

I’m saying don’t kid yourself, the people you voted for in the past - you’re already going to have to answer because they’ve done nothing to stop abortion in America in their political office. They may be against it but did nothing in Congress to stop it. So you’re on the hook already. You specifically. Me specifically. All of us specifically. I’ve been voting Republican as long as I could vote (post-Roe) and none of the Republicans I’ve voted for has done anything to shut down Roe.

Im not saying there isn’t a difference voting Republican vs Democrat, but I am also saying that if you think the past republicans you’ve voted for but have done nothing to overturn Roe - that you’re not going to be held responsible - only if you vote for a RINO? You’re deluding yourself. If you vote for a pro-choice RINO you’ll be held to account, true. But you’ve also voted for a bunch of republicans who said to you they were prolife but did nothing to change things in America about abortion, and you elected them too. And it’s 54 million aborted babies later.

That is what I am saying.

You have the opportunity to stick a dagger in the heart of the GOPe or you can throw away your vote by voting Romney. That is your choice. Either way OBAMA WINS. So, do something meaningful with your vote.

Second place is the first loser. Romney will be the first loser. What does it matter how much Obama wins by?

Am I wrong? I am? You Remember President Dole and President McCain don't you? I'll bet you voted for them too. I did. NOT ANYMORE!

The business and livelihoods of Washington et all were in far more danger than yours. Buck up. Learn from their example.

“Romneywhores unite!!!....somewhere else.”
___________________________________________

Is this type of stuff really necessary?

I have a hard time believing that you really believe this to be true. Sorry, but most of us who've decided to vote for Romney if he becomes the GOP nominee (all the way to to convention) are not doing this because we're “Romneywhores”! We are doing this because we're scared to death of the certainty that Obama will finish what he began in destroying our country!

OK, so if you can label us “Romneywhores” we can label you a “spoiled brat” who's having a fit because their candidate didn't get the nomination. Sounds fair...right? In reality, I think we understand your frustration; I just don't think your nasty label of those who take a contrary view from yours very helpful or necessary.

Probably need to donate money to the cause and get some high-profile spokespeople behind them. Might be a good cause for Santorum to support over the next 4 years to keep his name out there.

Dems crossing over and voting in the GOP primary to vote for Romney is causing a lot of this. I personally know of several such people who have done that. The whole primary process has to be re-engineered so that actual Republicans are choosing the candidates.

We are fighting the dems right now and Romney is their "choice".

We are the resistance!! Either join the fight or run...

I’ve seen a lot of name-calling and derogatory comments in this thread but few details for fighting back.

What specifically (besides not voting for Romney) does the “resistence” intend to do?

How does the resistence intend to “fight”?

What would you consider a viable alternative to voting for Romney?

It will be interesting to see if you get a reasonable reply... Other than more name calling and “go somewhere else” which seems to be the overwhelming norm in this thread to those who ask questions.

Well, you begin the fight by not rolling over for the socialist bastards. You do not vote for Romney number one. And you tell them why loud and clear before the convention. If we can wrest it away from Romney at the convention, fine, but if not we stick to our guns. He’s going to lose anyway, so why roll over for a loser? And you join your local tea party and attend every tea party rally you can get to (well, except for the tea party groups who rat out for Romney). And no matter what happens you turn out on election day or sooner to vote for every conservative on your ballot. We need to control every state and local government we can along with the house and the senate. We the people must restore the tenth amendment and our individual rights. We do this by controlling local governments on up. Those who have a mind to should join and take over their local GOP committees.

A lot of the tea party people are caving. Some did right away. The problem is the senior establishment folks assign the committee assignments and they can totally isolate the tea party winners and basically render them powerless in addition to giving them zero campaign help and funds and even running candidates against them. I am not sure how we get around this problem.

you will also have voted against neither....brilliant

It’s all about grass roots and down ticket votes for congress and senate at this point.
