Notice: Free Republic has been in full rebellion mode since 2008 and will remain in full rebellion mode for the duration!

No more Doles!! No more McCains!! No more RINOS!!

NO ROMNEY!!

Those who cannot stomach rebellion might as well start looking for a new home on the net!!

Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.

In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!!

We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!!

I'd rather fight and die like a man than bend over and be screwed by a RINO!! I refuse to kiss Karl Rove or Mitt Romney's rings!! They can kiss my rosy red ass instead!!

FUMR!! FUGOP!!

Long live the rebellion!!

Hope my message is clear.

Points for originality.

I don’t think even an Orc could stomach Romney.

Again, you are correct.

The federal level is too corrupt and useless. We need to take back local control with conservatives and then our congressional reps will have to follow suit or lose thier jobs.

I can’t vote for Romney and I can’t vote for Lamar! or Corker either. They are as much the problem as Democrats. I still can’t figure out why so many of my fellow Tennesseans fall for these RINO’s. Bill Frist is a great guy but a Senate Majority leader he was not. Better than Trent Lott? Barely.

Romney lost to McCain and McCain lost to Obama and Romney will lose to Obama too. The vast majority of the rank and file Republicans do not trust him and do not want him. He’s a known RINO liar and socialist healthcare pusher. He’s got the RINO GOP-e rolling over for him, but he does not have the people and will never have them. Republican enthusiasm for this election will be non-existent. It already is.

Rove is no longer beamed into my TV, since I quit watching Fox News. Like Romney, Rove hates conservatives and particularly TEA Party conservatives. He's sure some "magnificent b#stard." /s.

I've never missed an election and provided I'm alive, I won't miss the up coming one in November either. I'll vote TEA Party Conservative wherever possible and against the democrat in local elections.

If Romney is the GOP-E’s nominee, I will write in the TEA Party candidate of my choice; Sarah Louise Palin. My state permits write in’s, and I want to see my vote counted and published in the newspaper, for proof and posterity.

I’ll attempt to answer all 3 together. The goal is to make a loud and clear protest against the GOP. If we miraculously pulled out a win, great! But it’s not likely. Possible yes, but a long shot.

As for a VP, Allen West is a thought. He has a couple boneheaded moves too, but is conservative and outspoken, charismatic and has no fear.

The goal is to make the people of this country aware WHY we refuse to vote Romney and strike the fear of God into the GOP for the next election...assuming there is one. Again, it does not matter if they ‘want it’ or not. What matters is we stick together in numbers and say “No more liberal GOP”.

Heck, I disowned two siblings (brothers in Ohio) this week when I learned they planned to vote for Obama in November.

you too? I am the only conservative in the family. I keep contact with my parents only for my kids. My parents also know if either of my kids come home spouting the love of Obama it’s the LAST time they see my kids with out me or my wife present. Thankfully both of my kids are learning the history of our foundings.. I heard my son say “that’s not right!” when Obama was spouting he’s crap on tv.

Things like that make a daddy proud :)

I have not talked to my sister other than in passing (shes mooching off mom and dad, lives in their home) for over a year.

I just know "I" don't want the job LOL

But then I'm not into power or money ☺

I particularly have never understood the allure of power, but that's just me.

I just got through reading the thread through to 363 and I'm amazed at some of the replies I've seen.
I've read comments people are willing to abandon their core personal principles for little more than political expediency and party loyalty.
They don't seem to realize that they're part of the problem. They don't seem to realize that their support of RINO candidates does more damage to this nation than withholding support and votes from a poor choice of presidential candidates.

To me it's pretty simple...people have got to stand firm and come to realize that @party over principle is going to bring about the ruination of both the GOP and this nation.

To me "party over principle" means that a person is asked to abandon their core principles merely to ensure that a Party candidate is elected to office. Usually a person has several core principles that they feel strongly about. I'm sure that you have more than one yourself.
So, to me, the question becomes which of your core principles are you going to abandon solely for the sake of Party advancement? And then a person has to ask themselves if they're ready, and willing, to abandon some of their core principles for the sake of the Party, will they abandon all of their core principles for the sake of the Party. Because as soon as you give in and abandon those principles there is a push at the next election for you to abandon even more of your principles because you did so the last time and the Party knows this.

And eventually you have to look at yourself in the mirror and realize that you have no core principles any longer as you've abandoned them over time for nothing more than a short term political victory.

I simply can't sell my birthright (eventually all of my core principles) for a mess of pottage (short term political victory) else I damn my own soul.

Though I had been a lifelong Democrat, after the high tech lynching of Clarence Thomas I vowed never to vote for a Democrat ever again.

I still wasn't ready to go against a lifetime of propaganda, so I went Perot in 92 and Harry Browne in 96.

I learned my lesson.

In 2000 I voted for one of my least favorite candidates and pulled the lever for Bush. (and damn glad I did)

In 2008, I voted for my least favorite major Republican I could possibly imagine.

I will vote for whatever Republican is on the ballot in 2012.....gladly.

Unfortunately, the only way that these establishment RINOs and liberals in the party will get the message that they better not shove their candidates down our throats anymore is if we refuse to support their worthless candidates in the general elections as part of a “lesser of two evils” bargain. They must be made to understand that from now on we will not support their candidates against the enemy unless their candidates credibly stand for the opposite of what the enemy does rather than just a paler shade of the enemy’s agenda.

The Libertarian Party (and other third parties) have been doing exactly this for decades, and what can they show for their efforts? Vote tallies that approach 5% in one national election after another. That strategy doesn't work.

What I want to know is how Obama gave the muslim brotherhood on egypt 1.8 billion without congressional approval.

Because no one stopped him. Congress is made up of a few good people and the rest are worthless.

We're here because the GOP has learned that we WILL hold our noses and vote party...

We're here because, contrary to popular opinion, Conservatives do not constitute the base of the Republican Party. If Conservatives did constitute the base of the Republican Party, then Mitt Romney would not be where he is right now, on the way to securing the nomination. The same goes for John McCain four years ago.

The Republican base may lean conservative, like most of the people in this country, but they are not Conservatives. This is the one, fundamental mistake, that people are making in regard to this whole exercise going on in this thread. The assumption that the Conservative members of Free Republic are the base of the GOP. We are not.

Oh how I wish she were running!

One of the reason's I'm opting to vote for Romney (And yes, holding my nose), is due to Sarah's admonition on several occasions of “Anybody But Obama.”
