Notice: Free Republic has been in full rebellion mode since 2008 and will remain in full rebellion mode for the duration!

No more Doles!! No more McCains!! No more RINOS!!

NO ROMNEY!!

Those who cannot stomach rebellion might as well start looking for a new home on the net!!

Those who have ignored my hundreds of posts on this crucial issue or who have doubted me these last three or four years might as well get used to it. FR will never support the abortionist, homosexualist, socialist, mandate loving, constitution trampling liar Mitt Romney.

In case you haven't noticed, a TEA Party rebellion is on and Free Republic signed on years ago. There is no turning back. No more crap from the GOP-e!! They've screwed us for the last time!! Karl Rove and Mitt Romney, et al, loathe conservatism and loathe the tea party and took it upon themselves to use their money and connections to destroy nearly every one of our conservative tea party candidates while pushing their big government RINOS. That makes them the enemy. I will not reward that betrayal by giving them my support or my vote.

FR is and will remain a pro-life, pro-limited government conservative site!!

We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!!

I'd rather fight and die like a man than bend over and be screwed by a RINO!! I refuse to kiss Karl Rove or Mitt Romney's rings!! They can kiss my rosy red ass instead!!

FUMR!! FUGOP!!

Long live the rebellion!!

Hope my message is clear.

Th rolls are rapidly shrinking here for a reason. You just illustrated why.

Really, and what proof do you have of that?

I am ABO.

And that is precisely why you and millions of other Republicans have brought us to the brink of electing a man who is nearly identical in substance to that which we are sworn to oppose.

The 'Anyone But Obama' line of thinking opens the door to heinous and despicable characters such as Romney, and throws all principle and conviction to the wind.

I can no more vote for someone who violates the American principles I believe in 85% of the time, than I can vote for someone who violates them 100% of the time. Choosing either of those options is still treason to my country, and I will not willingly do that.

I oppose the anti-Americanism that Romney and Obama represent with every fiber of my being, and refuse to be suckered or bullied into compromising my personal honor and integrity by giving either of them my consent.

If we cannot stop the coming darkness, then let that horror bear the name of my enemy. Let every man understand just WHO was responsible for destroying all that was good about the finest nation that was ever conceived by the mind of man.

Your honor and integrity are more important than your immediate life. Do not barter them away so cheaply.

You misunderstand, mom. I voted for McCain because he had a long pro-life record, he had a long record on national defense, and he had a long record on being fiscally responsible...if not purist conservative. He also was willing to team up with pro-God, pro-family, pro-life Palin.

Now, Romney is not pro-life and never has been. His record is worse than terrible. He is pro gay marriage. He is pro gun control. He is pro big government and fiscal irresponsibility (Romneycare).

He doesn’t have a single drop of conservative blood in him that I can turn to and say, “See, he’s got some conservative creds.” He simply doesn’t.

So, because of that, I want to find a real conservative to vote for, and I want you to remain open to being convinced.

(Santorum, by the way, has an absolutely wonderful pro-life record, and he was my favorite (after Perry bombed out) to receive the nomination.)

BTW, I am a died-in-the-wool pro-lifer.

"The Reality That IS Coming Newt will back Romney Santurom will back Romney Rush Limbaugh will back Romney Sarah Palin will back Romney Cain ....Romney, Michael Reagan, Mak Levin ... all will back Romney Ronald Reagan ....if he was alive and ticking ....yep he would back Romney"

They have all said they would back the eventual nominee, yes. But, speaking for myself, I'm not a lemming. Rush, Sarah, and Mark are not going to stand before Jesus and absolve me of voting for an abortionist and homosexual lover. I bear the responsibility for that. So I have to do what I believe God expects me to do----not align myself with Romney. Those folks' decisions are their own.

PF has spent weeks busily undercutting any challenger to Mitt Romney, and has now taken to libeling FR.

Personally I think he/she is hanging out at the wrong site.

” - - - (Have they EVER eliminated a democrat social program or oppressive legislation? ) - - - “

What Republican POTUS was the last POTUS to Balance the Annual Budget for one year that he was in office? (My guess is Calvin Coolidge).

BTW, don’t all Republican POTUS Candidates “promise” to Balance the Budget? Since none of them, when elected, actually have, (since possibly Calvin), were all of our Republican Presidents actually Republicans In Name Only?

Okay, but the reality is McCain is not in this race... Romney is!

Well, I guess that's an easy way to not back up your position that Romney is WAY to the left of McCain.......

I’m going to vote against the Kenyan and I don’t care what FR or anyone else thinks. I am voting my conscience and my vote will go to whoever has an R beside their name in November.

Hopefully, that will be someone other than Mittens and if it’s not, hopefully he chooses a conservative VP so the vote won’t be so painful.

What about the Conservatives? Hello? Who is giving us a voice in all this?

It's the primary process playing out. Conservatives like Palin and DeMint chose not to get in the race. Perry, Bachman, Cain and others were eliminated early on in the voting process. Santorum won conservatives over in Iowa and a couple of other states. Gingrich won them over in South Carolina and had his chance at the rest of the south. It is the voters in this primary who have decided the ultimate outcome.

I said Okay!

I'm accepting your position that McCain was not way better than Romney. They are both low-life, pukes.

Feel Better?

Don't take this as endorsing Romney — I've already made clear I am not — but everybody on Free Republic needs to understand that this is a real concern.

Newt Gingrich is a techie. He does understand what is at stake with internet regulation, transferring the rules of broadcast media via frequency licensing (probably a legitimate necessity) over to the internet, rather than following a print journalism model of no regulation of the content of the public press apart from a libel lawsuit for actual falsehood being printed.

That's a big deal and those who don't follow the developing issues of internet law need to pay close attention to it.

If Romney gets in, at least enough conservative congress members will push him to the right

What a sweet, insipid fantasy. Keep believing it, if it helps you sleep better.

I think you are being kind to say another 4 years of Obama gives us only 6 trillion more in debt, it will be far more than that. The guy can rule totally Unchained and he knows it. People will wish he was as “restrained” as he was in his 1st term if he wins a second term.

What a shame. You've got all that going for you yet you're reduced to posting on an Internet forum.
It must suck to be you.

I’ll forward you contact information if you think you can do better.
Nah, it ain't my cup o' tea and I don't want to know you better.

Can I point out that Newt indicating he could be open to being Mitt’s VP says something about Newt himself? Not necessarily a good thing about him? Would any of us self described/avowed conservatives be open to being Mitt’s VP?

And yet there two are promoting a vote for a lying, left-wing, Liberal Progressive.

I see your principles only go so far.

I am long over my principals at this point in terms of what I would do to oust the communist traitor and Marxist tyrant Obama.

I believe I'm watching a textbook example of how a RINO is made.

Only by abandoning all principle, can one logically conclude that electing Obama's near-identical twin makes any sense.

Turn in your conservative patriot card, and sign in at the RINO desk.

One of the only mistakes from the start of this rebellion is believing that the GOP-e would willingly sign onto the TEA Party philosophy. There is no mistake now that the RINO establishment must be wholly replaced, no matter how long, difficult, and impossible this task turns out to be. We no longer have an official Republican Party, it has been eaten hollow by maggots.

Yeah. I know. A lot of people don't pay that much attention to what's going on around them. They hear a few propaganda sound bites and take them as gospel truth - because they heard Karl Rove say Romney is the only one who can win!!
There's not much we can do about that. That doesn't mean we have to follow them. They have no idea where they're going.
