Obama and DNC advisor attacks Ann Romney (She never worked a day in her life)
ABC via Drudge ^

Posted on 04/12/2012 4:48:54 AM PDT by submarinerswife

Ann’s first tweet came just moments after Democratic strategist and DNC adviser Hilary Rosen lobbed an insult at Ann Romney, suggesting that the 64-year-old mother of five and grandmother of 16 had never held a job.

“Guess what, his wife has actually never worked a day in her life,” said Rosen, who was being interviewed by CNN’s Anderson Cooper about the “war on women Following the interview, Rosen herself tweeted, “I’ve nothing against @AnnRomney. I just don’t want Mitt using her as an expert on women struggling $ to support their family. She isn’t.”

Rosen kept tweeting, not appearing to back off of her comments.

“@AnnDRomney Please know, I admire you. But your husband shouldn’t say you are his expert on women and the economy,” said Rosen.

Then Rosen offered a welcome message to Ann, tweeting, “oh and @AnnDRomney welcome to Twitter. You will find it a very exhilarating and often unforgiving place!”

“Well, you know, I don’t know Laura Bush. But she seems to be calm, and she has a sparkle in her eye, which is good. But I don’t know that she’s ever had a real job — I mean, since she’s been grown up. So her experience and her validation comes from important things, but different things.”

I’m a married GUY with low-maintainence teenagers, and work STILL is the place where I get more rest. I’d rather be at home, but I work harder there.

The Democrats’ War on Women

Posted By Arnold Ahlert On April 12, 2012 @ 12:50 am In Daily Mailer,FrontPage

The so-called Republican “war on women” currently being trumpeted by Democrats (with ample help from an ever-accommodating media) has exposed the absurd depths of the leftist entitlement mentality and its disdain for the concept of religious freedom. It was highlighted by the testimony of Sandra Fluke, who contended that her birth control should be underwritten by others regardless of their religious convictions. Yet if war is defined as something that does genuine damage to the interests of women, it is Democrats, via the sexual revolution and its all-out attack on traditional values, who have waged a war against women for decades. What has the Democratic war on women brought us?

First and foremost, it has brought us the wholesale destruction of the nuclear family, and the resultant poverty and crime that attends it. Currently 41 percent of children are born to single mothers, most of whom are low-income women in their early and mid-20s. In the black American community, that percentage soars to a staggering 72 percent. Male child abandonment is now a rampant aspect of our society. These trends are directly connected to Democrats’ and president Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society,” and the critical changes they made to the Aid to Families with Dependent Children Program (AFDC). A program once reserved for funding once-married women who had lost the primary male supporter of the family was expanded to include any household where there was no male family head present.

In 1965, Daniel Patrick Moynihan predicted where such a change would lead–when the out-of-wedlock birthrate was 24 percent among black Americans and (4 percent for white Americans). He was excoriated by liberals saying that a “lack of equal education and opportunity” were the true root of the problem. 47 years and triple the number of out-of-wedlock births later, liberals are still using the same rationale to defend their position....

Michelle had one of those “make work” jobs like on the Sopranos. It might have even been a “no show” job. We don’t really know.

My ire is drawn. SAHMs and working Moms often have a vicious dislike for each other’s life choices.
SAHM= lazy, husband leaching know-nothing
Working Mom= leaves kids for job, children raised by strangers. Spends little to no time with her children.

Hillary Rosen is a vile feminazi who just slandered and disrespected me and millions of SAHMs.

I know what people think of SAHMs, even if they are taking care of their kids. It is the ultimate slap in the face from a society that is collapsing and imploding right before our eyes. SAHMs dare think that supervising our kids is important. Making meals, reading, and spending time with our children is considered “lazy.”

I love my kids, and value them and their well-being. I want them to be moral and intelligent. I do not want them to grow up latch key and ignorant, raised by HBO and the internet.

If women want to work, that is their choice. I envy women who work and have their mother or trusted family to watch their kids while they earn their check. If I could do that, I would work.

CDC: Nearly 1 in 4 babies born to unwed cohabitors

Apr 12, 12:12 AM (ET)

By MIKE STOBBE

ATLANTA (AP) - Health officials say nearly 1 in 4 babies are born to unmarried couples who are living together, a significant jump from a decade ago.

The government previously said more than 40 percent of births are to unwed mothers. But a report released Thursday offers new detail showing most unwed births occur in cohabiting couples.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study was based on face-to-face interviews with more than 22,000 men and women during 2006 through 2010.

About 23 percent of the reported births were to unmarried heterosexual couples who were living together when the child was born. That was up from 14 percent when a similar study was done in 2002. The CDC did not speculate on reasons for the increase.

I am not able to type what I would REALLY like to state concerning this particular person, for several reasons.

Firstly, I suppose that raising FIVE children doesn’t “count” as “working”.

SECONDLY, I understand that she has multiple sclerosis. My mother, who ALSO did not work after I was born, also did not work. RULE ONE for MS patients then, and now, is SUBJECT YOURSELF TO ZERO AMOUNTS OF STRESS, because stress sets off episodes, from which you never really recover 100%. So, recovering to 98% a few dozen times over a span of years leaves you in a wheelchair, blind, or worse.

Because she loves her husband, and, I suppose, her COUNTRY, she is apparent willing to take the risk of public appearances, campaigning, and eventually in being the First Lady.

Moochele works now. She was recently on “World Biggest Loser” which WAS a favorite in my family. We’ll never watch it again. These “people” are infiltrating every aspect of our lives with their propaganda BS.

This coming from a family who had a position that was created at a Chicago hospital that was for $300,000 something a year, and is no longer there. Michele O just had to sit on her fat ass and collect checks. Last I checked she’s been partying it up for the last three years on our dime while we’ve been getting shafted financially by her husband.

Many women who are stay at home Moms are very busy with school, church, and community charitable activities.

Just because a woman is not “gainfully” employed doesn’t mean she isn’t tirelessly and unselfishly working to make life better for her own family, her faith family, and her community.

What planet do these elitist Democrat women come from? They claim Ann Romney is out of touch with women’s issues, but they demonstrate that they are the ones who have no clue.

The closet thing Obama has to a job is his current one, which is questionable at that, with all his golfing, vacations, and campaigning. Our affirmative action president had his handout all his life.

What is obvious is Obama and his ilk hate women. Sarah Palin was derided because she did not stay home with her 5 children. Ann Romney is now marginalized because she did stay home with her 5 children. Obama will make this election about Ann and women, just like he made the last one about Sarah. He is such a pussy boy, he can’t run against the men. Look at what his policies have done for women. Nothing!! Higher unemployment, more on welfare, more childless. I believe he hated his mother and had no respect for his grandmother. Women are only tools and props to him. Get them arguing and distracted from the issues and he gets a pass.

Doesn’t Mrs. Romney have MS? If so, then everything she does has a factor of difficulty above that of someone who is not cursed with that malady.

So what? A pretty healthy percentage of Obama’s supporters have never worked a day in their lives, either.
