We will not waste our limited resources on FR in support for a liberal progressive LIAR
Click here to pledge your support! ^ | April 12, 2012 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/13/2012 12:13:14 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

A reminder for those who are not receiving the message:

Romney is a pathological compulsive liar. Lie after lie papered over with more lies. Doesn’t even flinch when caught in bald faced lies, simply tells another big whopper to cover up or dodge the issue. Funny thing, the man actually seems to believe his own latest lies and simply ignores the glaring record of his past actions/lies. And you have true blue establishment elite RINO Republicans like Karl Rove enabling and backing up his lies. Their motivation is simply to hang on to power (and riches) any way they can.

I’ve stated many times since Romney started running for the presidency way back when that I’d never vote for him and I will not. He cannot lie his way out of his decades long record of support for abortion, Roe v Wade, planned parenthood, gay rights, gun control, global warming, amnesty, liberal judges, big government, compulsory or socialized health care (RomneyCommieCare), mandates, Keynesian economics, support and approval of TARP, bailouts, stimulus packages, i.e, every damn liberal progressive issue that comes down the pike.

C’mon. These are the reasons the tea party sprang up and the reasons he and Rove loathe the tea party and our tea party conservative candidates. Romney famously expressed his loathing for Reagan-Bush conservatism several years ago when he was trying to run to the left of Ted Kennedy and now he’s cloaking himself in Reagan conservatism, knowing full well that it’s a lie, but he knows it’s the only way he can possibly win, er buy the Republican nomination.

Screw Romney!! I absolutely will not support or vote for a proven compulsive liar with a known record of abortion and big government socialism, liberal appointments, etc. He still lies about RomneyCommieCare today. Calls it a “conservative solution.” Get real!!

Listen to what Ronald Reagan had to say about the elites pushing socialism on America via compulsory health insurance:

Ronald Reagan speaks out against RomneyCommieCare

There will be no campaign for this Massachusetts liberal liar on FR!!

Damn the libs and RINOS, full steam ahead!!

But no matter what happens we must turn out in November to vote IN as many conservatives and vote OUT as many rats as possible at all levels of government. If we don't have a conservative at the top of the ticket we must turn out anyway and vote straight conservative DOWN ticket!! Just think of it an off cycle election and pour on the TEA!! It'll be doubly important that we control both houses of congress and as many statehouses as possible.

Restore the 10th amendment!! Impeach the leftist president whoever he may be!! Restore Liberty!! Rebellion comes from the bottom up!!

WOO HOO!! I CAN SEE NOVEMBER FROM MY HOUSE!!

No Bama!! No Romney!! Go tea party rebellion!!

It’s damn sad that all of the efforts of conservatives have come down to ... Romney!

Romney bought his way to where he is now. There is no shortage of reports from his competitors, past and present, about how much money he's spent getting to this point. He may have started his fortune on his own, but the way he's going about achieving his biggest goal is turning people off big-time.

Tea Party Nation leader to Mitt Romney: Don't Expect us to campaign for you

Snip: Phillips said that surveys conducted on the Tea Party Nation website have shown that about 25 percent of tea party activists say they won’t vote for Romney in the general election.

As loathsome as the alternative may be, I'd hate to help Obama.

One vote doesn't matter much but I'd hate to look back from total societal collapse and have to say I didn't vote against it.

I think we're at one of those pivotal points in our nation's history where the confluence of events demands a showdown. We won't survive the current trajectory, whether the Socialist in the White House is a Democrat or a Republican.

Better to reject the loathsome fraud, Romney, and tell the left to Bring It. Let's get this thing over with.

But he is still better than Obama

No he isn't. His track record says he appoints liberal judges.

You are giving the supreme court to the libs, because if the dems control the senate or if the repubs control the senate, he'll nominate unknowns with lib tendencies, and you'll swing the court back to the libs. The dems will gladly vote for them, and the rinos will gladly join with the dems to confirm them so that they "support their president."

Obama as president would at least require the rinos to pretend to be opposition.

But, there is a 3rd way. Elect a conservative from another party.

GraceG/RedMDer: If you're going to appropriate Breitbart's image, at least do him the credit of posting HIS perspective too. Agree with him or don't. But don't misrepresent him. Breitbart at CPAC2012 February 10, 2012 I don't care who our candidate is You want a unity speech? I'll give you a unity speech. I don't care who our candidate is. I haven't since the beginning of this... ask not what the candidate can do for you, ask what you can do for the candidate! And that's what the Tea Party is. We are there to confront the radical left on behalf of our candidate! I will march behind who ever our candidate is. Because if we don't, we lose. There are two paths! There are two paths! One is America, the other is Occupy! One is America, the other is Occupy! And I don't care, and along the way... I've realized over the last three years that the Republican Party and the conservative movement is not what ABC, CBS and NBC put on the screen. They try to portray you in the worst possible light... and when I travel around the United States meeting people in the Tea Party who care -- black, white, gay, straight -- anyone that's willing to stand next to me to fight the progressive left, I will be in that bunker, and if you're not in that bunker 'cause you're not satisfied with this candidate, more than shame on you. I can’t support any pro abortion politician and both Romney and Obama are pro abortion.

I am very concerned about what Obama will do with another term in office and believe Romney as President to be a better choice but still will not be supporting him and that sucks because then who is there to beat Obama. I don’t believe for a second Romney can beat Obama it is 2008 all over again as we saw with McCain. Too many conservatives and Christians will not vote for Romney and that leaves Obama beating Romney.

I also predict Ron Paul will run third party and favor him above Romney and Obama. Ok you can zot me now ..lol.

Jim, are you saying he doesn't have the capacity to change his views over time? I mean, Reagan was once a Democrat. Don't you think the conservative members of Congress (and I realize there are few) will hold Romney's feet to the fire if he renigs on his campaign posture which at this point 'sounds conservative'.. 0bama is a Marxist. And a Marxist who hides behind a race card. Romney won't have the luxury of hiding behind ANYTHING if he renigs, because he's white. If we fill the House and Senate with CONSERVATIVES, Romney will be held to account for his actions, do you not agree (Boehner has GOT to go too).

And to you other FReepers, don't dog pile on me.. I'm a NEWT DEWD but JOB ONE is for me not to do something so stupid (like not vote for the Republican nominee) that OBAMA ENDS UP GETTING RE-ELECTED!!!!

I agree that FR should not be a campaign platform for Romney, but is reminding people of the consequences of not voting for him if he's the nominee also scoffed at?

Romney by same miracle of fate wins the presidency. He decides to ‘reform’ Obamacare. You know just tone it down a notch. It passes and becomes a Republican Triumph and we can never be rid of it

That's a really good point. And the same could be said about other laws. It's a valid reason why a conservative should not vote for neither Romney or Obama.

But...

Who would you rather have appointing federal judges, Romney or Obama?

Who would you rather have appointing the next Attorney General, Romney or Obama?

Who would you rather negotiate with Putin, Romney or Obama?

Who would you rather negotiate with the "Arab spring" leaders, Romney or Obama?

Now, my three questions do NOT necessarily override your excellent point. It's just something more to think about.

Actually I meant the House would be blocking Obama for their own political gain, because you certainly never get Republicans voting 100% in a lock like they did against Obamacare on principle alone. As for Obama, I suppose he acts out of political gain sometimes, but usually as a true believer in marxism.
