The GOP-e does not really care if Obama wins. They know that their lush payoffs will take a serious blow if the Tea Party gets into power.

It really is time for a new party. Not just a Tea Party operating under the Republican banner but a stand alone Tea Party running its own candidates.

Reading this makes me want to not vote for Romney. Fortunately for me, in Texas it won’t make a difference whether I vote for a Presidential candidate or not. The other races are important, though.

It would take too much money to start a new party. The Tea Party needs to run these RINOS out of office.

Rick Santorums exit from the Republican presidential campaign is a win for the Republican establishment... Uh... Santorum's campaign itself was a "win" for the Republican establishment.
It's insulting how he managed to sell anyone on the idea the former 3rd ranked Republican Senate leader, one with a penchant for "taking one for the team" over his supposed conservative values, was not establishment.
But, they argue, Newt was Speaker... Ah... but Newt was overthrown by the establishment and pushed out.

Indeed, it may even be more lucrative for them if Obama is re-elected while the House remains in Republican hands. This is probably so. I hadn't understood that , before.

The GOP-e have become timid and fearful of a beautiful grass roots conservative movement that if supported could have given them and all of us ownership of the government for the next forty years or longer!!!

I guess the elites do have an interest in keeping the economic machine well-oiled and working so they can skim their cream off the top. The Obama radical lefties want to completely destroy the economic capability of our country and control us completely.
Given no other choice, I guess I had rather be a pack mule for the elites, hoping one day to flee the farm, than to ride the leftist ship to the bottom of the sea.
