I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this yet, but Randolph was a staffer for nutter extraordinaire Alan Grayson and managed his failed 2010 re-election campaign.
So, basically, I’m saying nothing this clown is really that surprising to me.
Is it ok to defend Mitts wife on FR?
It’s really a Democrat war on Mothers!
Carville to Randoff:
READ YOUR GODDAM EMAIL IN THE MORNING BEFORE YOU SPOUTING OFF ABOUT SOMETHING.
Moms - Stay home and raise your children, otherwise you may be raising Democrats.
Keep it up, Democrats.
This is about inoculating michelle obama for the general election. All the vacations, all the expenses and improprieties will not be in play during the general election. They are going to build this up into some major issue and then will come the "gentlemens agreement" to leave the wives out of it.
obama said as much thursday in his missouri television interview. "Families and spouses are off limits"
The dems know what they are doing.
We need to quit making a big deal out of this.
It’s a plain and simple case of jealousy which ignites wrath against those who have what you secretly desire. It’s called coveting, it poisons the soul of the one who covets.
Democrats would attack Mother Theresa if she were alive and favored a Republican. They’re vicious people with no conscience.
She’s really attacking Ann (and Mitt) for being rich. It was a stay on message class warfare comment, but because of Ann’s situation (5 kids, MS, cancer survivor) and the general good feeling towards motherhood, it backfired.
Today Obama said that we should stop attending to this distracting furor over motherhood, leave families alone, and get back to the big issues, like the Buffet tax. Hilary overdid it, but her attack was part of a consistent theme—”they (Romneys, GOP in general) have more money than you. Let’s change that.”
There will always be more not-rich people than rich people. That’s why class warfare is often a successful tactic. Hilary Rosen was not off the reservation—she just chose her target poorly. But, anyone with a perceived excess of wealth was her target. She was on message, but delivered it poorly.
