The dozen Secret Service agents sent home after a prostitution scandal in Colombia were busted after at least one of them refused to pay a hooker, sources said.
The scandal — a black eye for the United States’ reputation abroad — was revealed Friday before President Obama arrived in Cartagena for the Summit of the Americas.
The 12 agents were part of an advance team meant to secure a local hotel before the summit began — yet their attention apparently turned to taking advantage of Colombia’s policy of legal prostitution.
“They had arranged to have a bunch of prostitutes come by and one of the agents refused to pay a prostitute,” said author Ronald Kessler, one of the leading experts on the Secret Service. “Yes, doubly good judgement there.”

The issue is not whether the hookers were legal or not; the issue is not whether the agent or agents refused to pay nor not.
The issue is, if yu are Secret Service YOU DON’T DO ANYTHING to compromise the secuirty of the POTUS.
To become a SS if the pinnacle of a law enforcement career.
Why risk that for some tail you can get when you are off assignment?
That is why this is not passing the smell test.
This is “risky business” and could wind up making you or your partners dead by breaching security, so why would you do that?
Given the poor state of the American media these days, I’ll wait for the real story to emerge.
It is entirely conceivable that the hookers work for one cartel or another.
Maybe the SS was simply using them to score coke.
The only possible story I can think of that would be any explanation at all, would be that it was some kind of a pre-wedding bachelor party thing for one of them.
Not that even that story would excuse this behavior - What a black eye on the agency.
Could these be affirmative action secret service agents? Thus held to a lower standard in the hiring process?
Where's the blackmail video tape of the Secret Service agents talking sh*t about Obama, while getting drunk with prostitutes in these foreign countries?
How stupid can these people possibly be?
This reminds of of Bush's Homeland Security boss Chertoff, when it was discovered people who entered the country illegally were running around the inside of his private residence.

The prostitutes in Colombia are so inexpensive, if 12 were ordered and only 11 SS wanted to partake then one of the 11 would have stepped up to the plate and purchased two. I believe they call that a 3some.

1. the WH is a “black eye” on our national prestige.
2. In Latin America anything concerning prostitution, mistresses, etc. is (like France) not considered a “black eye.” That is only true in the Anglo-Saxon culture.
don't try to equate the Central and South American culture with ours - it is not even close.
