Is Moonbeam starting to grow the semblance of a brain in his golden years?

Give ‘em hell, Jerry. You can start by getting rid of the communist state government workers unions that you setup way back when that are killing the golden state. Then you can send your idiotic bullet train on a highspeed run to hell!!

California Democrats cut taxes?

I don't think Brown speaks Spanish and he may have misunderstood Mexico City's instructions.

Wow.Depending on how he proposes to cut the budget maybe this is a sign that Governor Moonbeam *is* able to put down the crack pipe from time to time.

Rats understand spending but they are not familiar with cuts.

Brown is just POed because people don’t like the half cent general sales tax hike he’s proposed, and the alternative Millionaire’s Tax ballot measure forces revenue collected to be spent a certain way.

Oh wow. Tax-and-spend lib Moonbeam rejects 40 plus years of his own state career accomplishments in one day.

It is Brown’s lifelong legacy. Now CA gets to “enjoy” it.

Yeah sure.... Meanwhile, California has more than enough offshore oil to pay off its debts and keep their socialist idiocy.

Hey Moonbeam,

There hasn’t been any real Govt Men since Ronald Reagan was Governor. You might as well turn the keys over to MET-I-CO

I am guessing that when all is done, the CA deficit will be around $20 billion AGAIN this year. California has been a fiscal basket case since 2000. Note revenue problem. SPENDING problem.

For the first time in his life, Brown is right and not lying. That said, I’ll be stuned if he does anything about it. Just stuned.

2010-11 $25.4 billion

2009-10 $21.3 billion

2008-09 $17.2 billion

2007-08 $2 billion?

2006-07 $20 billion

2005-06 $9 billion

2004-05 $14 billion

2003-04 $38 billion

2002-03 $21 billion

NOTE: All during the Housing Boom the legislature spent the MASSIVE property tax windfall as fast as they could and more. The communists in the CA state legislature have never seen a budget deficit they didn’t like.

Big fans of Obama, apparently.

The Democrats love massing up huge debt. Just love it.

1st action needed to fix the state financially, enact a part time legislature. 50% time or less with correlating pay and perks cuts.

I wonder if he regrets it the second time around.

These are not the Democrats of your (relative) youth, Governor.
