There are people who willingly went to prostitutes and other people who ended up with prostitutes, the official said. Either way, its just unacceptable.
Specifically, the official said, on Wednesday night an agent is believed to have taken a Colombian woman back to his hotel room and had then thrown her out in a dispute over money; investigators are trying to figure out whether the agent knew that she had intended to be paid.
The woman apparently began causing a disturbance in the hallway, eventually bringing other Secret Service agents as well as a small number of law enforcement and military officials working with them on security and communications matters out of their rooms and attracting the attention of hotel management and security.
It emerged that others on the team also had women in their rooms. Tempers flared, compounded by the language barrier. At some point Colombian police became involved, and American government officials decided to replace the team.

Agent Cheapskate was inept at so many levels. Probably blighted the careers of his entire team, whether or not they deserved it. Perhaps they did, if only in failing to set a watch on bumble britches.
Where was moochelle?
He could have at least called her a cab.
The SS has probably relaxed the stringent qualifications to suite 0bama. I think he prefers black agents around him. Just my opinion.
Two supervisors among the 12 and 5 military. Monkish existence my arse.
Is SS now hiring from TSA?
I hadn't thought of that angle, but this is the first Secret Service scandal I remember and I have to wonder if morale and esprit de corps [corpse?] have deteriorated during the current administration. Sure looks like it.
Democrats diversify their War on Women.
And how do the secret service agents know that these women are not agents of other countries and/or groups that want to cause the US harm?
Seems exceedingly stupid to do something like this.
That is, if true...
No...not the TSA but from the GSA.
If Obama had a son... The Secret Service would “stiff” his Hooker.
These 12 Jokesters can always get a job with Wacknhut Security.
JACKIE CALMES and ERIC SCHMITT will write what they’re told to write.
Under what possible circumstances could military members of the advance team, obviously selected for their qualifications, have a "curfew"?
From the article:
“Mr. Obamas security detail has been involved in other episodes in recent months.
A federal agent with the State Departments Bureau of Diplomatic Security was charged with second-degree murder last November after shooting a man in Honolulu, according to news reports at the time. The agent was off duty but was on the island to provide advance security arrangements for Mr. Obamas visit to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit meeting.”
Hmm. A second-degree murder in Honolulu in November? In preparation for Obama’s visit... Hmm. I wonder who the victim was.
Jackie Calmes and Eric Schmitt will write what they’re told to write.
How long before this is all blamed on George W. Bush?
