What range do you go to in Dallas? I usually go to the Garland public range or to Gibson’s Outpost.I live about 5 minutes from Gibson’s.

Report: "Gun sales increase across the state, nation"
Response: Why am I not surprised!
Comment: Every fool and his brother knows a Social War is coming. The exact date, time and location it breaks out is to be determined later.

I’m looking at a sig probably in 9mm. I have been carrying a little keltec .32 but want something with more stopping power.

Check out Armslist.com
It’s like craigslist, but for guns, and Mr. BATFE man has no idea how many you buy.

In FLorida, puma or bear are a more likely reason to need a firearm. However, if you live further down in the warm part of the state, there are always pythons and green anacondas.
Hopefully, no Urban Ferals, but that will be determined by November.
Maybe.

I'll bet President Recovery is so proud of the economic activity he's promoting! Think of all those jobs he's single-handedly created or saved!
To: driftdiver
He has been using other methods to implement gun control, not laws through congress. Things like banning the import of certain firearms. What firearms have been banned under the Obama administration? Just asking. Here in Florida pretty much everything is available.

had a barrett for a while, swarovski scope has markings out to 2,000 meters, and yes you can really hit something regularly at 1500 meters, as long as you know EXACTLY how far away it is.
got rid of it though. couple shots and it made your gums bleed. not the recoil but the concussion from the muzzle brake, and i mean how many places can you shoot 1500 meters.
one interesting thing, at that distance its flying around a 30 foot drop. that always amazed me. you would shoot it, and count to 4 or 5 and hear the clang coming back from the target.

I am not so afraid that guns will be band as I am that ammunition will get so scarce and expensive that we will just have high priced rocks to defend ourselves.

Race pimps baiting for a long hot summer and stirring up a race war.
There are places that is a very very bad idea.
We shall see how really stupid they are.

Through regulation he banned the import of Saiga shotguns although I think it was reversed. He’s also stopped the import of Korean War era rifles from Korea.
There are other examples but those are the two that come to mind.

(of course we didn't really have one with Bush either).
I won't defend Bush's metamorphosis, but he was the guv that signed TX CHL law. But his second presidential term was an abortion.

The militia of today would have to fight like people of today. There won’t be a lot of marching in formation going on.

Flash mob violence by a certain minority group which has exploded in size and scope all the while without exception and worryingly gone unpunished.
Yep. I carry 2 .45ACP pistols everywhere I go.

That reminds me, I have to buy more ammo.
I hope you don't shoot .45ACP. They're going FAST!

There is a decent supply of used police dept Beretta 92’s on the market, some for around $350. Great guns, ultra reliable.

I pass thru Gonzales occassionally. There’s a bar, the Long Branch Saloon, just off the square. The building is original from the 1880’s. Neat place and $1.50 beer.
