Secret Service hooker flap over $47
NY Post ^ | 4/15/12 | GEOFF EARLE in DC and DON KAPLAN

A Secret Service agent shamed the United States after a wild night of babes and booze that ended in an argument with a Colombian hooker over as little as $47.

One of 11 elite agents assigned to ensure President Obama’s protection at a summit meeting in Cartagena, Colombia, was busted after his lady of the evening refused to leave his hotel room in the morning without her fee.

That woman was one of 11 hookers hired by the agents — and the only one who hadn’t left Cartagena’s swank Hotel Caribe, where White House staffers, members of the press and dignitaries are staying during the Summit of the Americas meeting, sources said.

I just grabbed this off the net, but it's about what I'm guessing the scene at the hotel pool and bar looked like at any given time. Their Cartagena lodging was at a first-class beach resort hotel, in a city just crawling with chicas guapas.

The USSS advance team might have had a little more on their minds than security, when checking out the hotel bar and pool.

Finally. An Obama scandal where it’s appropriate to blame it on Bush.

Holding the conference in Brazil would have solved that problem.

He will be known forever in the Halls of Hooker Infamy as a “cheepiskate.”

“R&R? Weren’t they on duty?”

Not 24 hours a day.

Look, I don’t know you, but I know men in their 30s, who consider themselves top-tier macho studs. Hell, I was a USN frogman overseas myself. Do you think they are monks? They are NOT. Especially not when spending a week in the advance party at a hotel crawling with feminine beauty of the highest order. Believe me, they are not monks!

>Now I ask you: was it worth it to elect an unknown, pathetic excuse for an American as president?<

.
We’re still not sure that he was a legitimate American.

And here's the real story:

Without mentioning the Secret Service scandal specifically, Obama — who arrived in Cartagena on Friday — blasted “flashy” coverage of the controversy.

Obama "blasted" the coverage, not the story itself. Because everything that goes wrong is the fault of the press for reporting it.

Geez. I wonder if and how many of these guys have wives at home? That will be the real trial by fire they’re gonna face. Much rather face my employment boss than the real boss if it was me.

The company I used to work for held a gathering of newly acquired divisions at a Tulsa hotel some years ago. After the dinner, there was an open bar and many adult beverages were consumed.
I arrived late and asked about the tab as of 11:30 pm. It was $2300 and change.
I asked the bar keeper to announce last call and put the bar bill on my credit card.
The next day, I mentioned to my boss that my expenses would be a bit heavy and explained why.
He signed off and nothing was ever said...

It would be interesting to find out how much of the old guard in Barry’s SS detail had been replaced by those picked specifically for their fealty to him and his program.

Because everything that goes wrong is the fault of the press for reporting it.

Everything that goes wrong is the fault of somebody else. In this case it's the press. Other culprits have been Bush, Congress, the rich, Bush, oil companies, the "1%", Republicans, Bush, health insurance companies, millionaires and billionaires, Paul Ryan, and Bush.

I wonder how many were picked because they looked like Obama's son (if he had one).

Years ago, I was a nanny for 6 kids. After being lied to by one of the teenagers in my care, I had a talk about honor. I told him that we all were born with this gift but once we lied or did something to make people not trust us, all the money in the world cannot restore it. I don’t know if he ever told his parents what I said but I hope he remembered what we discussed.

When hubby and I were dating, he was in his hotel room and there was a knock at the door. I thought he was putting the phone down when he said, I’ll be right back’ and he thought he was going to call me back and thought he hung up. A coworker was at the door. She had been drinking and liked what she saw earlier so thought she would ‘partake’. Unbeknownst to future hubby, I heard the whole thing. He was gentlemanly and refused to humiliate her but firmly told her he would see her tomorrow. Fueled by alcohol, she was insistant and refused to take no. I heard him say, “I am going to watch tv alone and wake up alone and you need to do the same. Good night” before he closed the door.

I married him, not only because I completely love him, but because he does the right thing when no one is looking.

These SS’s wives are in for a world of pain and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I am thinking this may not be the agents’ first rodeo but is certainly their last- at least on the taxpayer’s dime.

Excuse me...But if you’re Secret Service, you’d better be squeaky clean or find another line of work.

That’s what I wondered when the story first broke.
