Im a bit disappointed that some of my fellow women have bitten the bait thrown to them by Democratic operatives promoting a so-called Republican war on women. I suppose we shouldnt be surprised, considering all the misinformation being shot in our direction by those who will do anything, hell or high water, to promote their cause.
This whole war on women thing is contrived, by the way. It didnt exist until a couple of months ago when Democrats most likely realized they needed to do something to regain the female vote. And the next thing we knew, a GOP war on women was birthed.
The GOP has never been against birth control. A Republican party standing against contraceptives would be the DNCs biggest nightmare --because America would be overrun with future conservatives. Pity the thought!
Moreover, a respectable Democrat recently confirmed the war on women was made up. During the OReilly Factor on April 6, Democrat news analyst Juan Williams described it as phony and said, I mean, you couldnt make anything up better than the Democrats have done to try to fool women.
Without a doubt, this con on women was created to distract us from seeing the truth: The Obama administrations economic policies have caused women to lose ground previously won by women under administrations from both parties. Heres why:
Information from a July 2011 Pew poll based on Bureau of Labor Statistics data casts Obamas economic policies in a rather chauvinistic light, considering men have fared much better than women under his leadership. From June 2009 through May 2011, men gained 768,000 jobs and lowered their unemployment rate 1.1 percent, while women lost 218,000 jobs, and their unemployment rate rose by 0.2 percent.
The study found the recovery has favored men over women in all but one of the 16 major sectors of the economy. In five sectors, women lost jobs while men gained them. In other sectors, men gained jobs at a faster rate than women and lost them at a slower rate than women. State government was the only sector favoring women.
According to the poll, Obama broke a 42-year record: The recovery from the Great Recession is the first since 1970 in which women have lost jobs even as men have gained them. Obama did promise to be a different kind of president.
With Democrats in control for the first two years of Obamas presidency, all the hype would make one believe women would be advancing across the economic battlefield with boldness. But, just like in war, when your leadership is run by girlie men, things dont end well.
In short, the record-breaking debt racked-up by the Democrat-controlled Congress in Obama's first two years, coupled with job-killing policy upon job-killing policy has hurt us all, and especially women. The exorbitant debt placed upon the backs of America's children and those yet-to-be born is inexcusable. Women in general and single moms in particular, are struggling to get by. The lack of jobs coupled with the outrageous gas and food prices have forced many women to barely survive even with government assistance. There is no excuse for what has been done.
Although a recent Pew gender gap poll shows women support Obama over the proven job creator Mitt Romney by 20 percent, its only temporary. Women are smart enough to figure out there is a job-creating political party that will help them rise above the bondage of a party using them as pawns in their political chess game.
They are not hoodwinked. Single women want “Sugar Daddy Govt”.
There was a reason that the Bible states woman should not take leadership roles and that woman were not allow to vote at the beginning of the country.
They tend to vote for the bonds (which is a tax) as Democrats constantly say it’s for the children, police. fire fighters and mother earth. Never do they say it is for the unions.
I have to say, IMO women tend to vote a lot more for liberal politicians than do men. Anyone disagree here?
How do we get some of them over that habit?
Someone told me recently that if it weren’t for the 19th Amendment; I would have NEVER seen a Democrat (Communist) in the White House over the course of my entire lifetime. I am nearly sixty.
ouch
I tried and tried to get my Lib women friends to see the truth. I would point out, during the Clinton mess, that EVERY WOMAN to accuse him was a DEMOCRAT. They didn’t care. One of my (former) friends even went so far as to admit that she would sleep with Clinton if she had the chance. That is one of the reasons she is a former friend.
And Sandra Fluke is their poster princess for that.
When you come down to it, most women, while they say the prefer an intelligent, sensitive, caring man as partner and soul mate, would end up rejecting him and choosing a punk who, more than likely, would treat them like dirt. Until I met my wife, any number of women threw me over for someone who ended up being a punk and an a$$hole who they either divorced or just stuck with like some insane masochist. I met up with one former girlfriend later in life who this happened to and I asked her what happened to that kind, intelligent, sensitive man (i.e., me) she was seeking, and at least she had the intellectual honesty to say she was wrong and chose poorly, but it was too late. This is one of the dichotomies of the "liberation" era that I find many, many people, women especially, would rather not face up to, but instead cover it over with jingoism and platitudes.
Sigh...
...the formerly conservative Ann Coulter is probably right.
They’re pretty much one issue voters...
Maybe I hang around with the wrong type of women? I don’t know a single one who supports the Obama policies and who, to a person intends to vote for Obama. Of course the women I know are regular, working women - they aren’t attorneys, or stock traders, or women with MBA’s working in high level positions.
I even know some union member women - they aren’t voting for Obama either.
Maybe the one’s who support the Obama policies are the kind who Sex in the City was modeled after. They can’t find a decent mate because they are screwed up in the head so Uncle Sam is as close as they can get.
Am I in the wrong part of the country or something?
No, sad but true.
yup.
Unless you are in Texas, yes you are.
:-)
They remind me of the battered-women mentality- women who stay with their “bad boy” cause he really didn’t mean to hit her/it’s not his fault/....etc
American women generally will vote for the hair..
God forbid a candidate would say something “MEAN”...
Note: American women Loved to be lied to.. they just love it.. its “the Truth” they HATE...
Ann Coulter
1910-Winston Churchill.
He was correct. Nothing has changed in over 100 years.
