Media Malpractice [Liberal "news" and George Zimmerman]

Any hope that the media might fairly and responsibly cover the shooting death of black teenager Trayvon Martin was effectively doomed the moment Al Sharpton descended on Sanford, Florida, and started holding rallies with the victim’s family. Recall that Sharpton once said of Clarence Thomas’s tenure on the Supreme Court, “I remember growing up reading Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Now I get to see it.” Unless they agree with his race-driven political agenda, Sharpton is not above accusing even African Americans of wanting to return to a day when the Fugitive Slave Act was still on the books.

Once upon a time, Sharpton was covered by the media only as a colorful race hustler who stirred up trouble. Now Sharpton is the media, host of the MSNBC show Politics Nation. Despite scant evidence that race was a factor in Martin’s death​—​George Zimmerman, the man who shot Martin while on a neighborhood watch patrol, is Hispanic and claims the killing was self-defense​—​Sharpton came to Florida to tape on location, thundering that Martin was a victim of racial injustice. Not surprisingly, Sharpton promulgated at least one glaring untruth, claiming Martin was in the morgue for three days before his parents were informed he’d been killed. “How do you leave this kid in the room like he’s a worthless piece of meat?” he railed. However, this is contradicted by the fact Martin’s parents were discussing their son’s killing on a local news broadcast the next day.

The sleaze extends up and down the media ladder. The networks and the LOCAL Florida tv stations and newsrags alike continue to repeat the vile crap being played by Al Sharpton’s lynch mob.

None of them are reliable sources for accurate information...they are playing the tune THEY want to hear—the bias is so evident in the makeup and tone of the words they use and the pictures they print and/or broadcast.

They have an identicle case in Calif, yet only in FLORIDA is there a media circus. Why? Cuz the swing state is FLORIDA, not California.

This is a MUCH bigger chess-game than Burglar Trayvon, and they are going for the 2nd Degree Murder charge with the AIM of getting it thrown out.

Why?

To re-energize blacks and renew white guilt.

Why?

Cuz right now the Muslim Bisexual would LOSE.

It amazes me that anyone would have that in todays world.

While those things may indeed be their intent, what these bugs are doing is giving new life to racism.

The part I find funny about this whole mess is that anyone with an ounce of sense would have to concede that a neighborhood watch would have to pay attention to a young guy in a hoodie traversing the community area. Anybody on watch that didn't would be derelict in his duty, period.

Those same individuals with the aforementioned common sense would also have to admit that the correct courses of action for a young person in a hoodie who is being watched/followed should either just go home or ask the guy following if there was a problem in a friendly, non-threatening manner.

The young guy in this case apparently decided that a direct attack was a better option and the rest is history.

My hope is that Zimmerman is exonerated at trial and turns around and sues all of these Lynch Mob Media networks, the talking heads and a few asshat Congrescritters who decided to declare his guilt.

It is confusing and irritating when they refer to the attacker as the "victim."

Liberals are well known to build emotional stories about the past. Bill Clinton remembered black churches burning in Arkansas when there were none. Al Gore remembered hoing, chopping and pulling tobacco on his Tennessee farm when he was rarely, if ever, there. He spent his early life living on the entire sixth floor of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in D.C.

I guess they think that makes the lie better.

Consider, also that it was dark and he was wearing a hoodie which he no doubt believed would give him anonymity. Not knowing that Zimmerman had a gun, Trayvon thought he could sneak up on Zimmerman , beat the crap out of him and then vanish into the night. The apartment complex consisted of many buildings which made a convenient maze where Trayvon could easily disappear from view. If Zimmerman did not have a gun, Trayvon could have given him a vicious beating then he could have vanished into his father's apartment without anyone being the wiser.
