An Army soldier who lost his arms and legs during his third tour in Afghanistan last week underwent surgery Monday as supporters from around the globe offer prayers and messages of hope on a family website.
Army Staff Sgt. Travis Mills, of Vassar, Mich., was injured when he stepped on an IED April 10 while serving with the 82nd Airborne in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. He is recuperating at a hospital in Germany and hopes to return stateside on Tuesday, three days after his 25th birthday, his father told FoxNews.com.

Afghanistan and Iraq and the Middle East in general are not worth the sacrifices our military has made. The US is not in it to win it. I’m sorry but that is how I feel. IF those people want to fight and blow each other up until the end of time, so be it, but we should just let them. Protect our borders.
I heard the interview with his wife. Travis Mills is a true hero. Foxnews are updating his story now. The family website is being overrun.

You’re not the only one who feels this way. While hussein kisses the talliban’s butt, the taliban know there will be NO repurcussions for anything they do.

Looking at him, I despise Obama so much that I barely know what to say. Obama has been virtually colluding with our enemies, licking the toes of the Taliban, and tossing away our best and most loyal people.

I want to keep bumping this thread, as while he is back in the states, he has had several more surgeries and though he does not complain, currently they are having trouble relieving his pain enough for him to sleep : |

Dear God, please help to ease his pain, and give strength to his loving family. And Lord, I pray that he may be healed so that he can watch his daughter Chloe grow into a beautiful young woman, and grow old with his loving wife, Kelsey.

Prayers for this young man and his family. I pray that Our Lord eases his pain, both physical and mental. I also pray that He eases him into some restful sleep, free of torment. Sad story and he and his family will be in my daily prayers.
These kinds of things just add fuel to the anger at how seak our leaders are. Because their policies are so crazy, our finest young people are being killed and maimed. Prayers for this family and for Travis.
