CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) – Former Vice President Dick Cheney walked without assistance and spoke for an hour and 15 minutes without seeming to tire in his first engagement since getting a new heart three weeks ago.
Cheney even threw in some political plugs amid much reminiscing before the Wyoming Republican Party state convention in Cheyenne on Saturday.
He said presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is going to do a "whale of a job."

Nope, you just proved mine. Some of us have been ringing alarm bells about this cretin for over 6 years and counting, yours truly among them. How you could be a member of FR for 13 years where Willard has been thoroughly vetted and dismissed via hundreds, if not thousands of discussions, as viscerally antithetical to the cause of Conservatism and not know or deny this fact is exceptionally curious, to put it mildly.
The fact you can’t recognize that Willard is a Socialist means that either you’re willfully blind and stupid, or a liar (or just another R’bot pimp and lemming, which is not mutually exclusive of the previous) ...perhaps even just a troll.

I fear a conservative movement that has totally abandoned all principle infinitely more than I fear a second Obama term. And I fear God much more than either.
We've survived evil, stupid politicians before. But we cannot survive an electorate with no principles. Especially that portion of the electorate that represents the only hope of ever putting this country back aright.

It does come down to choosing economic equilibrium (or the promise of it) over God’s declared will of what is morally sound practice.
The zinger is that by going for this worldliness instead of the Kingdom of God they end up with nothing. If the majority voted for Kingdom principles they’d get economic prosperity thrown in gratis: “Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well (Matthew 6:33).”
This economy is not going to get better because this nation keeps rejecting the God who founded and originally blessed it.

The problem is, you refuse to see that replacing Zero with Slick Willard is no solution. I called you out on that, and you can’t respond to it except with the usual R-bot talking points and audacious denials that Willard is a Socialist. The saddest point you made is that whatever the GOP puts up, you’ll vote for. That speaks more to your mindset than anything else. Some of us aren’t lemmings for the party and actually have something called a conscience and principles.
