I just checked, two 6.5s (seconds apart, so upon seismologist review
may just be one) off Valapraiso, Chile. West coast of Chile (possibly offshore)...but when I checked...the Pacific Northwest (Cascadia) oddly quiet. Usually there are a bunch of tiny quakes. But none listed today. The reason I mention the PNW is if you think of those metals that used to be on everyone’s desk...a release on one end caused movement on the other.

My new co-worker (replaced my most-excellent friend and conservative co-worker) is a liberal democrat (I think). She doesn’t talk politics at all and I believe she’s a supporter of The Won. I’m listening to Quinn in the office (NOBODY is going to stop me from listening to my conservative radio!)

Any of Yinz still have radios or computers on? Glenn Beck is doing a truly scary bit about Russian infiltration of the administration. He’s pointing out “things” in the Bales massacre and the Secret Service story. Really...I know Beck isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. He is linking so many things that make sense (Wiki leaks; Julian assange; “journalism” in Russia, Columbia—where SS story “occurred.”) really great research.
