In Katie Pavlich’s devastating new expose of the Eric Holder Justice Department-approved Fast and Furious operation, Pavlich doesn’t just expose the Obama administration. She exposes the mainstream media for what they are: tools of the Democratic Party, and of the White House.
As Pavlich recounts, the first mainstream media outlet to report on Fast and Furious was CBS Evening News, which aired a report by Sharyl Attkinson. She stated that the scandal itself was so awful that “some insiders say it surpasses the shoot-out at Ruby Ridge and the deadly siege at Waco.” She pointed out that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives had been pushing through the sale of guns to Mexican drug cartels, and that gun shops had even tried “to stop the questionable sales, but ATF encouraged them to continue.”
When the Obama administration saw Attkinson’s report, they reacted with utter fury. Officials from the administration screamed at her; as Pavlich reports, Justice Department communications director Tracy Schmaler called her up to yell at her. White House spokesman Eric Schultz “reportedly directed a barrage of expletives toward her.” Attkinson said that the White House and Justice Department labeled her “not reasonable” – as opposed to other press outlets...
As it turned out, they were all deliberately obfuscating the truth. As Pavlich reports in Fast and Furious, there can be no doubt that this scandal began and ended with the Obama administration’s willful attempt to ram its anti-gun agenda down American throats. And if Americans had to die – and if the media had to cover up for the administration – that didn’t matter one whit to Obama and his cronies. All that mattered was the scam.

Even now it is being pushed to the back burner, we hear lss and less about it and one day soon it will dissappear completely.
Issa has done a fair job so far, but where are the subpoenaes, why hasn’t anyone been arrested? Why is it dyting on the vine? Why hasn’t Romney mentioned it? Why didn’t it come up in any of the debates when the combatants were busy bad-mouthing each other instead of Obama?

Oh, how I wish I could argue with you on any of these points....
His author guest has just released a factual book hitting hard on the guilt and the guilty parties in Fast and Furious. She emphasized the fact that the media is covering Obama's and Holder's butts in this scandal, but, as usual, O'Reilly was politely skeptical about her expose and its evidence.
To be certain that everyone knows he's always "fair and balanced", O'Reilly's schtick is to give equal weight and/or time to right and to wrong.....and to Right and Left.
He consistently gives moral equivalence to political good and evil, to perps and victims, to high ground and low ground, and willfully ignores evidence in favor of good intentions ("I don't think Obama is an evil man, he just.....etc"...or "I don't think Obama is a socialist.....he just....etc.")
You get my drift. This guy has to wear lead jockey shorts from sitting on the fence every night. He is Janus, the Roman two-faced god who stands guard at the gates of a no-fault Heaven.
Because of his large audience, he's a dangerous man with a leprechaun smile who nudges politically-uneducated "folks" into a kind of perpetual limbo/coma.....into his crazy fair and balanced world where even the Ten Commandments have two sides.
If he has to, he'll find and showcase some commie perfesser on his program who will present and seductively argue for the "other side" of each of the "thou shalt nots" in the Decalogue.
