Ted Nugent Declares ‘I Will Either Be Dead or in Jail’ if Obama Is Re-elected

Ted Nugent is hitting the pavement for GOP president hopeful Mitt Romney. The rocker called for attendees of the National Rifle Association’s convention to go out and recruit thousands of people to vote for Romney in the coming election. Nugent said, ”Our government is wiping its a– with the Constitution.” During an on-site interview, he also told the crowd, ”We’ve got four Supreme Court justices who don’t believe in the Constitution. Does everybody here know that four of the Supreme Court justices not only determined you don’t have the right to keep and bear arms, four Supreme Court justices signed their name to a declaration that Americans have no fundamental right to self-defense? That sounds like a stoned hippie. That doesn’t sound like a Supreme Court anything.” The musician went on to say: ”If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year.” A representative for Nugent didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

“Otherwise, not voting for obama in a way that defeats him is not conviction, it’s vanity.”

Well said.

[N]ot voting for obama in a way that defeats him is not conviction, it's vanity. It's putting personal dislike of Romney's CINO tendencies ...

You're mistaken in that assessment, and you insult me to boot. Indeed, may I respectfully suggest that your quickness to attribute my motives to "personal dislike" and vanity, rather implicates your own flawed assumptions.

It ain't rocket science to understand that when you vote for liberalism, you get liberalism. It seems to me those who urge voting for Romney are in wholesale denial of that simple truth.

With liberal, moderate Romney a) triumphant and b) the defacto head of the GOP, politicians in the Republican party will have GOOD REASON to figure going left will benefit them more than going right. Romney's history reveals no nudging, but a decided proclivity for bigger, more intrusive government, and should "moderate" prevail AGAIN in a GOP election, you can bet that Republicans will be nudged leftward, In fact, to think the party might move RIGHT with a Romney administration is wishful fantasy.

Chicken Little hyperbole aside, it is totally up in the air as to what four more years of Obama might bring, especially if he was re-elected with such an anti-mandate as a 34% (best case scenario) plurality. It's anybody's guess as to how much damage he could do when a clear majority voted against him and simultaneously conservatives won a major battle in the GOP by defeating Romney.

On the other hand, there's no guessing -- it is logically certain that Romney in the White House would make liberalism more powerful in BOTH parties.

... an obama victory will result in more irreparable damage to the very core of America's character.... yet THINK further: The damage can ONLY be repaired if the country moves right; A Romney victory would amplify Obama's damage by making liberalism and statism's source the Republican party as well as the Democrat party.

Romney would effectively castrate conservatives in their own party, and the moderate wing would CERTAINLY constantly be reminding thee and me and all other conservatives: "Listen up, we moderates are the reason the GOP even has the White House, so you'd better shut up and sit down because WE won."

Again, this isn't rocket science or wishful thinking, it's common sense.

I've made it clear, and will continue to urge, that the SANE thing is to VOTE AGAINST LIBERALISM because when you vote FOR liberalism, you get liberalism. Guaranteed. I want patriots who understand that the real enemy is statism and liberalism, to avoid opting out of voting, and instead to figuratively crawl over broken glass to vote AGAINST liberalism by voting against both Obama and Romney, as they are both liberals. Patriots who vote such will weaken the political viability of whichever statist wins.

You want to show conviction this fall? Take up arms and rebel against the tyranny of the Federal Government. Put your life and liberty on the line, and really fight. Go all in.

Please translate for me. What are you proposing?

You're both wrong. Conviction and vanity are out in left field, and the fast ones are flying right over your head. Voting to weaken and defeat LIBERALISM is the only way we're going to conquer the monster. Obama is a symptom, not a cause. You want to see disaster? Picture the next Democrat president that would follow Romney. As Obama made Clinton and even Hillary seem palatable, the Democrat to follow left-statist Republican Romney would make Obama look like Richard Nixon. Think it through.

If you think leaving Obama IN power, weakens the left then you are mistaken. He will strengthen the left with choking regulations, he will seat more judges, etc.

We must establish a conservative stronghold in both houses of congress to legislate conservatively and we MUST remove Obama from office with the hope that the executive fiats (i.e. regulations) can be mitigated.

It’s a bit suspicious. What is sure, with the Gibson Guitar take over, Obama and his ilk are out to try to get a monopoly on artists by taking down whomever liberal is not compromised by his communist circle of thugs and gangsters.

This is an artistic genocide and is a very grave situation. I hear John Lennon was murdered after considering voting for Reagan...

If Obama is allowed monopoly over art and TV, then anyone attacking an artist or what not, McCarthy style, will be pilloried.

I support Nugent and it might be a cry from the heart. THis is a courageous move, but we have to be careful how or where it leads us.

Obama is self declaring himself as the Sponge Bob messiah, and he is the same psychopath homosexual leftist prostitute who would get jealous at good looking strippers’ wealth. Watch this angry spited muslim leftist f@g. He is up to no good and aims to destroy the “competition” for his little bureau biscuit.

Yes, that Obama is all-powerful, rather like Oz, isn't he? /s

You have clearly skipped any consideration of the logical consequences of Romney versus the logical consequences of a greatly damaged Obama opposed by the majority in a plurality win. It seems you, like so many, are so paralyized with fear that you can only contemplate a supernatural-Obama-centric view of things, which is as unbalanced as a solely Romney-centric view of things. You should consider BOTH long and carefully, and weigh the differing sums.

That you conclude a plurality-elected Obama, openly and definitively opposed by the majority of voters and facing a victorious conservative movement in the GOP after having defeated poisonously liberal Romney, who is essentially IDENTICAL to Obama in his political philosophy AS DEMONSTRATED BY THE RECORD, would do anything BUT weaken liberalism IN BOTH PARTIES, indicates limited appraisal of the whole.

If Romney is the President, you can kiss ANY hopes of having a "conservative stronghold" in Congress goodbye. If you want to know the future, look at the past. The worst loses for conservatives in Congress have been with a liberal, moderate Republican in the White House.

Romney is BAD NEWS from every angle. Voting for him is every bit as nuts as voting for Obama. VOTE ABOOR.
