Skip to comments.Eight Minutes You Missed: George Zimmerman’s Former Lawyer’s Press Conference
Posted on 04/17/2012 10:02:57 AM PDT by JoanVarga
Since April 11th, the MSM has known at least as much as George Zimmerman's former lawyer told them about the facts of the case. Those facts were woefully out of line with the Narrative. So the MSM just let us wonder about the strange moment and didn't find much else very interesting. Except that it was.
That's why you didn't see this.
It's part of the entire 45 minutes' presser. All you or I got to see was a somewhat strange assembly listening to some lawyers throwing their client under the bus, or publicly wondering whether they had been thrown under the bus. Either way, it's too bad, because that eight minutes should be no mystery to anyone who has followed the facts of the case, sans media filtering.
But it's more than that. The man calls out the race-mongers in no uncertain terms:
...we've had some people come to town who are only relevant in an area of racial strife. . . who, frankly, have a business model based on driving division in racial communities. . .
And he calls out one of Martin's attorneys as well:
. . .actually had an attorney for the Martin family who, as far as we know actually went to law school, get on the air and say, "They need to just go ahead and arrest him and let him prove his innocence in a court of law." Really? In the United States? I don't think so!
Note that he's a former police officer and legal police adviser. He absolutely has to school the young pups about law, offense, and how facts work toward truth. He really throws down. After watching it from the 28 minute mark forward, I almost think he resigned just so he could smack the press around. He really goes after them and especially after the feely-meely questions from the women. Full of goodness. No wonder the press doesn't like this guy.
Watch the whole thing from about 28 minutes on. It's a completely impolitic rant. Satisfying. Or just click link above for the short version of the facts of the case. Either way, I found it worth the time:
Full 45 minute press conference here.
Get the popcorn and enjoy!
thanks...ping for later
Thanks! I will watch the video later.
Could you provide where the unaired 8 minutes portion of the video are, so I can avoid watching 45 minutes?
Sorry, maybe that is the link to the 8 minutes...I’ll look.
You can also avoid 45 minutes (as I did) by watching the video from the 28 minute mark. Actually, after that 8 minutes, he’s just getting warmed up.
Did anyone, like Fox, show this, at least the shortened version? I don’t watch pro-romney Fox station anymore.
Get used to it, with your attitude you’ll be getting only state supported news after November anyway. Nothing to see here move on good useful idiot.
You have to wonder where all the Hispanics are, and why they are allowing this man to be crucified without response from them/
Zimmerman is alive today because he was armed and defended himself.
Angela Corey should be ashamed of herself for being cowed into bringing up Zimmerman on charges.
Great video, great attorney!
It’s about time someone other than the typical black racist are speaking out with actual facts. I hope this guy stays with Zim.
Thank you for posting this.
You’re welcome. I’m a giver. :o)
Send the eight minutes to Brett Bozell, Media Research Center www.mrc.org
He has done an excellent job of pointing out media bias and will bring it to the attention of everyone he can to right the misrepresentation. He was the force behind highlighting the ABC, NBC, and CNN Zimmerman errors.
Sorry about #5. I blanked there.
White folk better wise up to some of the black or Hispanic folk using their color as a weapon and deceitful tool.
Hispanics are much more astute about authority, appearances, and becoming a target. Plus, his last name is Zimmerman, not Martinez. Sorry, but that’s how shallow the MSM assumes its audience to be.
Hal Uhrig: This is a gun law consistent in about 23 or 24 other states. What is basically says is nothing new. If you are confronted by someone and physically attacked and in reasonable fear for your safety, you're entitled to defend yourself.
The statute has four little . . four stools . . . four legs to that stool. First, you have to be someplace where you're allowed to be. Both of them were. you've gotta be not doing anything illegal. As far as we know both of them were. And you cannot be the first physical aggressor. Not the first "Hey, I want to call you a bad name," or call you mama a bad name. The first physical aggressor. The only evidence and most of the forensics support the fact that that was Trayvon Martin.
When . . when that happens. When that happens . . .
[Reporter interrupts with something unintelligible about mortician]
Let me tell you what the mortician said about Trayvon Martin. What, what he said on his little announcement was, other than the bullet, bullet hole, I didn't find, ah, injuries on Trayvon Martin. I guess he was intending to say, I didn't see the, ah . . .
[Another reporter interrupts with something unintelligible]
Did you want to outshout me? Or did you want to go talk to somebody else?
I'm answering a question. You can stay out of it. What the, what the mortician said was I didn't see any injuries. [Reporters still murmuring] He didn't have a broken nose. He didn't have scars on the back of his head. [Obnoxious reporters] You won't find any photographs of those. You won't find a witness to come in and say that.
Silly me. I forgot to mention that Uhrig’s comments were in response to a reporter asking him (well, demanding of him) wasn’t this all because of guns, and wasn’t the gun law a bad law.
Unfortunately, these aren't Zimmerman's attorneys any longer.
