Two things if I may...

1. Most of the country wants Obama defeated (currently). See "Shock Poll: Romney 48-43 over Obama". So we need to make sure that we kick out the Socialist and all his parasites out this Nov.

2. We need to make sure that we put in good Tea Party conservatives in the House and Senate so as to ensure that Romney (if he wins nomination) is held to the most conservative standards.

If the election is even remotely close, the Dems cheating will give them the win. How many Sec’s of State do they have these days? It must be a resounding win or we are toast.

That’s the way I’m approaching it. I’m voting Newt in our primary, but IF chucklehead is the nominee then everyone else HAS to be a conservative to weed out the ‘moderate’ legislation.

We need some real DC haters for House leadership. People who will shut the entire place down until the Dems agree to serious budget cuts. People who will volunteer to drive the bulldozer that levels the Dept of Ed building. Proud bomb-throwers...unafraid to be one-termers.

If he wins by a small percentage he’ll be too terrified to stray right on any issue. Everything would be a compromise with dems. Just like Bush the Elder did (even though he won big).

You do NOT want me donating to Newt. I finally got past my superstition and sent money to Santorum. Within two weeks, he was out of the race as it was with Cain, Thompson, and others. I am a jinx. If I thought it would work, I would donate to Romney to knock him out.

It's not a matter of teaching the Republicans a lesson, it's face the possibility Romney will do more damage to the conservative movement, Republican party and nation than a lame-duck Marxist could dream of doing.

It's what addicts do, it's called lying to yourself.

There has been so much rage and hate against mittens, and so many people banned and threatened to be banned, that sane and logical discussion is not permitted.

So FReepers resort to little tactics like " hope he wins {but without my vote" because I'm voting for Joe Shitte, the rag picker.

I hope the GOP nominee for President wins in a landslide.

I hope the GOP picks up numerous seats in the House.

I hope the GOP sweeps the Senate races and ends up with a 60+ vote majority there.

I will laugh and dance and sing, and I’ll praise God and pray that He blesses America.

I will take my girlfriend out for a preposterously expensive steak dinner and drink very much fine, fine wine.

I will go to bed and sleep the sleep of the innocent and protected, and I’ll wake up happy and rarin’ to go.

Then we’ll all need to get down to the crucial and messy and maddening business of fixing our broken system and fast. And a big part of this will be making the GOP into a much more conservative, grass-roots-driven party.

But driving the ‘Rats out in the greatest numbers possible is job one for the next seven months. There is no doubt about that.

Voting for a liberal weenie will only prove to them that when push coms to shove you WILL ALWAYS vote for the liberal weenie.

Why would they ever feel pressure, you’ve just proven that they can run a leftist and still get your vote? Where will the pressure come from?

As a reluctant Romney supporter of necessity, all that works for me. >> Defeat Obama, pick up more seats in the House and gain control of the Senate by at least two seats, hopefully more, so the Dims can’t entice some senator to flip ala Jumpin Jim Jeffords.

I’m still thinking 2012 may be a continuation of the Republican 2010 wave. Obama has been a really bad president and not nearly so many voters will be falling for his 2012 version of “Hope and Change,” whatever it is this time. This current Senate is the real component of the “Do nothing Congress” and a lot of people already do or will realize that before November.

My hopes may be wrong, though. It all starts with voting Obama out. That’s the key.

No... so much more sense to say “vote for anything with an R” and then you can “pressure” them after proving you have no principles at all.

What will you pressure them with after proving you’d vote for “anything” with an R???

Thank you Mr. Perot.

I see that someone didn't pay attention to history. That was the GOP playing dirty and it bit them in the a$$.

In September he qualified for all fifty state ballots. On October 1, he announced his intention to reenter the presidential race. He said that Republican operatives had wanted to reveal compromising photographs of his daughter, which would disrupt her wedding, and he wanted to spare her from embarrassment. Scott Barnes, a private investigator and security consultant who had testified to that effect, later recanted his story. He revealed in 1997 that he had deceived Perot about the existence of the photographs, and that he had created the hoax with others who were not involved with any political campaign. Barnes was a Bush supporter, and believed that if it were revealed that Republicans were involved in dirty tricks, it would harm Bush's candidacy.

Ha ha ha ha ha...good one.

If Mittens promotes a Gay Marriage Amendment, the GOP will fall right in line and pass it. If Obammy tried that, the GOP House would at least try to oppose it. Mittens is a liberal, and if you vote for him, you're a liberal. Period.

Apparently, you're too ignorant to realize a liberal Republican like Romney has a much greater chance to pass through liberal legislation working with RINOs and Democrats than a lame-duck liberal Democrat does with Republicans in charge of one or both chambers of Congress.

You're apparently also unaware of the damage Romney did to the Republican party in Massachusetts. After his term, Republicans were left with less seats in the legislature than any time during the civil war.

It's not possible to expect any intelligence, though, from Romneybots.

Disagreeing with your political bias, does not constitute “ignorance”.

You have plotted scenarios that are least likely to occur in the real world.

The Obama scenario is a clear and present danger.

This week old thread is done as reasoning with you is a waste of time and nobody else is around to learn from your errors.
Good Day.
