Springtime in McAdam, a tiny village in southwestern New Brunswick not far from the Maine border, is like springtime in most other parts of Canada. Locals chatter about the NHL playoffs, the garden they are planting, the grass that needs to be cut, the fish they cant wait to catch and the cottage they cant wait to get to, once the warm weather really settles in.
Lately, however, an interloper has elbowed its way into the communitys daily dialogue. Pushing aside the playoffs. Pushing its way to the very top of the talking points.
Everybody is talking about the earthquakes, says David Blair, a retired science teacher and lifetime McAdam resident from his home on Old Harvey Road, just east of downtown.

The World will be blaming Zero for much more than what Conservatives have uncovered in the last 3.5 years, and he will be lucky if he isn’t tarred and feathered in the Hereafter.
The more Red Lobsters are opened up around the country, the more the weight of those lobsters have been removed from the vicinity of the swarming quakes.
It’s a New England version of fracking on a global Red Lobster scale. /s <;^)

In the comments below the article, one person lists two companies by name that are fracking within about 5 or 10 miles from the town.
Probably WWF Smackdown took place somewhere in the vicinity, that “get ready to rumble” guy...
