New Brunswick town plagued for weeks by ‘earthquake swarm’ — and no one knows why

Springtime in McAdam, a tiny village in southwestern New Brunswick not far from the Maine border, is like springtime in most other parts of Canada. Locals chatter about the NHL playoffs, the garden they are planting, the grass that needs to be cut, the fish they cant wait to catch and the cottage they cant wait to get to, once the warm weather really settles in.
Lately, however, an interloper has elbowed its way into the communitys daily dialogue. Pushing aside the playoffs. Pushing its way to the very top of the talking points.
Everybody is talking about the earthquakes, says David Blair, a retired science teacher and lifetime McAdam resident from his home on Old Harvey Road, just east of downtown.

Interesting reports to go along with that moderate quake last week in the Gulf of Maine.

You live on a seismically active planet. Shakes happen. Even in quiet little 'burgs like mine. A swarm of small quakes sure beats one big one. Keep calm. Carry on.

You can draw a line at the latitude that the recent 4+ quakes (Maine, Gibraltar, Utah, Japan, China, India, etc) have been occurring along.
Not the recent booming noise in Wisconsin coincides.

Sounds interesting! Please send me a link if you run across something plausible.
I've been doing a little looking as well. Some are attempting to tie solar minimums to increased earthquake activity.
Their theory is what effects solar sunspots also effects earthquake activity.

I have a few minutes at work so let me explain why I am perplexed.
If you follow baseball, most pitchers are experiencing lesser velocity on their pitches this year. Then you have the marathon at Boston ran in some of the slowest times since it's running both in female and male races. They blamed it on the heat but truly as per science the hotter the air the less dense the faster the time should have been especially for a Kenyan who is uhhhh used to the heat.
So that leads to the earthquakes...
Imagine trenches in which almost all of the world's deepest at one point or another has an anomaly to the point of even negative. Now if more pressure is being asserted on these joints of the plates it would be easy to rationalize a period of larger and more frequent seismic activity.
The fact that intraplate quakes are on the rise is also I think a product of such.
Now on to the proof....lol

Whoa! Surely the scale is exaggerated??? Otherwise, parts would be flying off into space at our current 1,100 mph surface rotation speed.
It's no wonder the magnetic poles and plates move!

Looks like something cataclysmic occurred. There's a bulge or higher gravity material on the opposite side.

Pressure and weight. After all the stories of the Arctic ice cap melting, the reports now are that it's growing which is the normal ebb and flow of the ice cap.
Something somewhere has to give; I wonder whose fault that'll be.

The more Red Lobsters are opened up around the country, the more the weight of those lobsters have been removed from the vicinity of the swarming quakes.
It’s a New England version of fracking on a global Red Lobster scale. /s <;^)
