The Department of Homeland Security reports that 1,062,040 new "Legal Residents" were admitted to the USA during 2011. "Green Cards" allow non-citizens to lawfully work in the USA and to receive almost every form of public assistance.

The county court house in AR burned down with her birth records lost. The elementary school districts in TX, WY and CA have all been schredded after 30 years.
So now, as the baby of her family and now an orphan she can't even prove she's a citizen, thus... an undocumented person that is freaking out when she hears and sees these stories of massive illegal immigration by scoff laws!!!
Here she is, unable to prove that this is the country of her birth, but as risk of not being given passage back into the country without a valid passport while others plant anchor babies here and stream their entire fertile families into the country. Worse yet, many just walk in with no passport or any righteous documentation whatsoever!!!
She has every right to be pist!!! She's never collected a dime of public assistance or free medical care just because she might vote for some lameass Democrat candidates!!! The inmates are running this asylum!!!
The GWB years completely changed Maryland into a state of foreigners. I never saw so many immigrants in my life and it continues now.
Recall that during GWB Years the Republicans believed their own BS that the Housing bubble was proof that Republicans found the magic stone, we could wage two wars, cut taxes and grow government social spending and it all was free based on his magic 'tax cut' economy. It's harder to remember now because the same Republicans claim after 8 years Bush bears no responsibility for HIS economy.
Back to your point, in those BOOM years we were told we need massive immigration and amnesty to fill all those jobs. That was the Koolaid. The economy went into a dive Sept 2007 about 6 months after the Bush/Pelosi amnesty bill died in congress.
What's wrong with this picture? Here an immigration lawyer claims that LINK: Lawful Permanent Residents who stay outside of the U.S. for 6 months or more at a time are risking losing their I-551 Green Card (Lawful Permanent Residence) to airport immigration officials when they try to re-enter America, especially when they do it repeatedly.
I think that lawyer is exaggerating a little, making it sound like every time a green card holder is out of the country 6 months, airport immigration officials confiscate their green card with no hearing (I know in fact that is not always true -- but it may happen sometimes), but compare that to Obama's illegal aunt (GWB DHS stopped arrests of illegals so they would not pick her up), who appealed until she finally won.
And now Obama is letting illegals go free because they don't have enough beds. Perfect example of Cloward-Piven.

It is also very stupid to get citizenship from the US if you are english-speaking and white. Unless you enjoy being looted. There are far better countries to emigrate to, in these times.
Some (many?) of those may be religious minorities who face persecution and even death in their home countries. Now America doesn’t have freedom of religion like we once did, but we haven’t come yet to martyrdom en masse.

Maybe, but hearing Paul Revere's ride send chills down my spine, and hearing the National Anthem brings tears to my eyes. I am an idealist and would rather believe in something than just be happy that "I'm NOT American". It is something worth living for ... not just going along with.
