No one seems to understand this situation.
He had to borrow the money for bail.
He then had to go pull a stick up to get money to pay for his bail.
Since the evil/pigs/fuzz/racist cops (probably) confiscated the vehicle he was operating without a license, he needed transportation to pull a stick up to get money to pay back his bail and get enough to pay a lawyer for the first charge.
So, he was ‘borrowing’ the bicycle to complete his chores.
I can see probation in his future because he was just turning his life around and was driving around looking for a job and the evil/pigs/fuzz/racist cops profiled him because the hadn’t met their quota of young ‘Amish’ to whup up on this week.
