I hope to God I’ll have the courage to sit home if another Bush is on a Republican ticket. When we will be free of them???

John Bolton - Secretary of State. He’s another Kissinger.

NO...Sorry! Jeb is the best of the group.

Jeb’s son is a well spoken, gregarious, good looking, “White Hispanic” and has often been called the Bush of the future around here. I have heard it less, however, since Rubio is on the scene.

( Love using that NEW “white” term! LOL)

not eligible!

It is so clear to me and not to even my family members. Now they say they have Mark Levin on their side.

Wonder how he arrives at that opinion? I usually respect his opinions on the Constitution.

What am I missing? Born in the US of 2 citizen parents...seems easy.

Don’t sit at home during the November general election and not vote in all of the other political races happening at the same time!

Unfortunately, come Election Day, I will probably toddle out of my home and vote. I would just enjoy voting - one day - for someone I like. Last time that happened was when Reagan was prez. Grrrrrr....

Some ones that immediately come to mind:

PROS
- Foriegn policy credentials impecciable
- Media can’t claim GOP candidate is a moron
- Ready to be President in a heartbeat
- Would destroy Joe Biden in a debate
- Slap down at John Thune and his idiotic supporters here

CONS
- Never held elective office, will swing 0 electoral votes (he’s from Maryland)
- RATs absolutely hate him and would be motiviated to turn out against him
- Bush fatigued, media will constantly portray his presence as a return
to Bush’s adminstration and foriegn policy (nevermind the fact that Mr. “Hope & Change” kept Bush’s forieng policy in place anyway)
- Conceded defeat on “gay marriage” issue
- Needs to shave mustache

I agree with the freeper who said he’d be ideal as Secretary of State. I did like the idea of him running for President a while back, but that was because Thune was being touted as Presidential material and I wanted Bolton to swoop in and take out Thune the way Thune had did to Bolton’s UN nomination. (Revenge is a dish best served cold)

If people are willing to vote for Democrats, they’re likely a lost cause, anyway—until they get mugged.

The ‘stache is a pro!!

Otherwise, good list. ;)

Actually while I’m pro-stache his Ned Flanders looking thing looks like it’s eating his face. Plus he dyes his hair but not Dr. Fuzzinstien, big no no. Seriously, got milk? Imagine the SNL parody.

But if Romney grew (a normal looking) one he’d be unbeatable harnessing the full power of Tom Dewey.

On a more serious note, we have no idea how he’b be on the stump, we can’t afford a VP candidate without campaign chops even if they would make Joe Biden cry like a little girl in the VP debate.

And with Romney’s history on the issue of homo knot tieing his own apostasy can ill be afforded.

I agree with fatnotlazy and Sacajaweau, sounds more like a Sec of State candidate. There his mustache would win him the respect of the Middle East. Hillary’s mustache is just peach fuzz after all.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_Policy_Polling

According to that site, this poll may be biased, Then the Wikpedia site states that a Nate Silver, former writer for the Daily Kos - thinks its not. REALLY.

Romeny shouldn’t pick Chris Christie as a runing mate. No way. He needs a conservative running mate with a mellow image.

But even then, his close association with big moneyed intrests which help create this mess under the current and previous adminsitrations will be a negative. Democrats can afford to take money from big buisness interests as the Media insulates the public from their equally elitist attitudes on this subject. At the same time, ther Mainstream Media MAGNIFIES associations of Republicans with the same interests.

Romeny would probably beat Obama hands down if the Mainstreram Media was shut down between now and election day. Than the public would have to make a decision based on jobs, salaries, home sales, cost of food and cost of fuel.

And Obama loses on all those major points.
