Newt Trails Obama by Only 7 Points in Latest Rasmussen Tracking Poll (or It's Not Over Yet).

In the lastest Rasmussen tracking poll, which has had no media coverage, Newt Gingrich is trailing Barack Obama by only 7 points nationally. Barack Obama is leading Mitt Romney by only 5 points in Florida. These poll results are being withheld by the RNC and the MSM, who want no positive news about Newt in circulation, especially the fact he is only behind Obama by 7 points nationally.

The RNC establishment’s current strategy remains: Publish no poll numbers; spread the word that Romney is the nominee; have people vote based on blackout and misinformation expecting Romney to win big; then hit hard with Romney’s wins and Newt’s losses to bully Newt into dropping.

Please do yourself the honor of reviewing actual polls by doing a Google search for “2012 Republican presidential polls (name state)” and you will see why the RNC is using this tactic. Then spread the word!

FOX had one report on Newt today. Most they have mentioned his name in months. The report was all about how much Newt was in debt. Made me so mad.

This is a concerted and coordinated effort by the romney camp, and it started last night with the NC cancellation story, which is one of Romney's tried and true dirty tricks.

A friend of mine in Texas spoke for Newt today. And she told me later most of the people there thought Newt had dropped out. She sat there all day at her table, had brought donation forms, Newt materials, etc. And no one touched them or took one.

After she finished speaking and assuring everyone Newt was still in the race, and making her appeal for him, when she got back to her table, all the Newt ammo was gone, a bunch of people left notes for her to contact them. Someone even stole her Newt yard sign!

This is a big push now by romney and santorum supporters, discourage the newt supporters. they are trying very hard. Please spread the word, Newt is in.

It’s just maddening how powerful the media are - they can make or break someone who can’t afford to buy a TON of commercial time. I’ve always maintained that Newt could easily win if enough people were exposed to his ideas, speeches and debates. And if he got to be the nominee going up against BHO, it’d then be a slam dunk.

It’s getting him enough exposure that’s the challenge, to counteract MR’s dirty tactics and being the media’s darling.
