Rubio doesn't close door on VP slot
The Hill ^ | April 22, 2012 | Cameron Joseph

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) didn't fully close the door on accepting the vice presidential slot if Mitt Romney asked him.

Rubio, who has repeatedly denied any interest in the slot, said that he wanted to "respect the process" Romney has put in place to make a selection and would no longer address it.

"I'm not going to even discuss the process anymore. I'm going to be respectful of the process he's put in place," said Rubio on CNN'S "State of the Union" on Sunday morning.

It won’t stop the wailing or the teeth-gnashing because Rubio’s skin is brown (which I personally think is the REAL issue here), but if he was indeed born in Florida (he was), he carries the CITIZENSHIP of the United States of America and all of the rights and privileges thereof and, due to the place of his birth, he gets the opportunity, if he so chooses, to run for President or be VP.

Think anchor-babies people. It’s not a stretch.

By the way, perhaps you can help us find the words “capital gains tax” and “IRS Form 1040” in the U.S. Constitution. I just cannot find those words in the Constitution, and you have assured us that unless the precise words are in the constitution, they just DO NOT COUNT.” You may be onto something here the tax accountants will love...OR NOT.

The ONLY document that means anything in this discussion is the Constitution, No other documents mean squat.

It is interesting that you choose Chester A. Arthur as an example since he had the same problem Obama has and he used the same solution, hide the truth about his history. Arthur lied about his father being a citizen at his birth because he knew that the son of a British subject could not be president. He burned his historical papers.

It was convenient that the democrats at the time decided to go after him as being foreign born. He used it as a cover issue that he could easily disprove while obscuring the fact that the real issue was when his father was naturalized (which occurred after Chester’s birth).

It is almost the exact same tactic the democrats are using today to hide the truth about Obama. They get people to chase a birth certificate and a foreign location and the truth will hide in plain sight.

Rubio is a U.S. Citizen by virtue of being born under the jurisdiction of the United States in the State of Florida, which makes him a U.S. Citizen by the act of a statute and not by the nature of his birth to two U.S. Citizen parents in the jurisdiction of the United States required to qualify as a natural born citizen owing no allegiance at birth to any foreign sovereign. Rubio is forever barred from the Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President because he was born with the natural born citizenship and allegiance to the sovereign government of Cuba inherited from his Cuban citizen parents. Rubio’s rights as a U.S. Citizen include eligibility to the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senate, and Cabinet positions; but his rights do not and cannot ever include Constitutional eligibility to the Office of the President or the Office of the Vice President of the United States. Refusal to respect the Constitution and defy it may be punishable as a High Crime and Misdemeanor against the republican form of government mandated by the U.S. Constitution.

If there were any truth that no other “documents mean squat” the words “capital gains tax” “and IRS Form 1040” would have to appear in the U.S. Constitution. Otherwise, your assertions can only be utterly false and baseless gainsaying. So, show us where the Constitution includes those precise words as you claim must be in that document.

Then you’re young and a product of the commie lib indoctrination centers that pass for schools today and, as previously given, my apologies to you.

But you don’t have to remain a brainwashed and ignorant product of the US education system. If you choose to stick around here, you might learn something.

Where is the evidence of the Romney parents retaining U.S. Citizenship after emigrating to Mexico? The colonization in Mexico occurred in the first place because the Mormon elders complained they were being denied recognition as U.S. Citizens with the right to practice polygamy, own land, and practice the rights of other U.S. Citizens. So far, all we have is the bare assertion that their U.S. citizenship was never renounced nor forfeited before they became refugees returning to the United States. Where is the documentation that the immigrated back into the United States with anything more substantive than a potentially fraudulent declaration of U.S. citizenship?
?

Thanks Whiskey for your very interesting reply. Reason I brought this up at all was that IF Romney is NOT "legal" to run, and if he continues, and it's contested, wouldn't this certainly open up a whole can of worms about Obama that others have been trying to ignore for these past 4 years?

Finally, I don't understand why the SCOTUS doesn't address this with some finality and get it settled once and for all.

FWIW, I suspect Romney Jr. is eligible, but Romney Sr. was not eligible. This suspicion is based upon the assumption that Romney Sr. even if he was born inheriting his father's U.S. citizenship, a dual allegiance to Mexico due to place of birth or other sworn allegiance after birth, or birth not in the jurisdiction of the United States would have disqualified him as a natural born citizen for the purposes of the U.S. Constitution. If so, this may not have disqualified Romney Jr. in this election. Again, this has to be conjecture of one possible scenario among many due to the lack of reliable evidentiary documentation.

So far, the Republican Party is just as guilty of complicity in subverting the natural born citizen clause as the Democratic Party. Their promotion of Romney Sr., McCain, Romney Jr., Rubio, and Jindal is severely damaging their perceived and actual integrity as principled defenders of the Constitution.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has already testified before a Congressional subcommittee that SCOTUS is evading the natural born citizen eligibility issue. In other words, they do not want to upset the plans and strategies of their respective political parties at the expense of the Citizens’ rights to rely upon the Constitution to deny ineligible candidates from the Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President.

So, having Piled higher and Deeper, you really ought to be able to read the Constitution and show us exactly where the words “capital gains tax” and “IRS Form 1040” are to be found within its four corners.

The Democrat-Progressive-socialist-communist movement secured control of the U.S. education establishment and curriculum well before the First World War. You came along about a half century after the curriculum and academics were already heavily indoctrinated and imbued with Marxist and Marxist-Leninist dogma. It shows in your demonstrated education as a history PhD.

So you were sick your entire year of civics class? Or maybe you were asleep?

If you have a PHD in history, you should know what the definition of Natural Born Citizen is. In particular, you should know the definition as the Founding Fathers understood it. I’d get the money back on that history PHD if I were you.

Then you are old enough to know better, and you should request a refund for your course fees.

You have been well schooled here for free by your betters.

Not stop being stupid, and you will learn much here.

And yes, we know you are a noob here, hence you are being scrutinized quite closely.
