Did Democrats hack the 2008 Obama election?

Stratfor, the US-based private intelligence company, says that Senator John McCain's campaign knew that electoral fraud was going on in 2008 but chose to do nothing. What is going on now as President Obama faces changed circumstances?

Friday, April 20, 2012 By Martin Barillas

According to emails obtained by WikiLeaks, which is led by the embattled Julian Assange, Republican Senator John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign staff allegedly had evidence that Democrats stuffed ballot boxes in Pennsylvania and Ohio on election night. However, the candidate chose not to pursue voter fraud, according to internal emails obtained from the private intelligence and analysis firm, Stratfor.

Stratfor regularly reports on geopolitics, narcotics, security and terrorism, particularly overseas. The company, which was founded by George Friedman, has high-level subscribers including at least one former U.S. Secretary of State, various foreign governments, and intelligence agencies. The U.S. Marines and the Department of Homeland Security are also customers. In recent months, Stratfor was in the news because a still unknown party hacked the Stratfor website and obtained subscribers’ names.

The internal emails in this case provided insight into Stratfor’s interest in U.S. politics. In an email sent on November 7, 2008, entitled " Insight - The Dems & Dirty Tricks ** Internal Use Only - Pls Do Not Forward **," Stratfor vice president of intelligence Fred Burton wrote:

1) The black Dems were caught stuffing the ballot boxes in Philly and Ohio as reported the night of the election and Sen. McCain chose not to fight. The matter is not dead inside the party. It now becomes a matter of sequence now as to how and when to "out".

Two days earlier, Burton wrote an email entitled "Insight - McCain #5 ** internal use only - Pls do not forward **," :

After discussions with his inner circle, which explains the delay in his speech, McCain decided not to pursue the voter fraud in PA and Ohio, despite his staff's desire to make it an issue. He said no. Staff felt they could get a federal injunction to stop the process. McCain felt the crowds assembled in support of Obama and such would be detrimental to our country and it would do our nation no good for this to drag out like last go around, coupled with the possibility of domestic violence. The Nov. 7 email also contains allegations that Democrats made a "six-figure donation" to Rev. Jesse Jackson to silence him on the topic of Israel after an October 2008 interview in which he said Obama’s presidency would remove the clout of “Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades.”

Burton, a former State Department official, wrote:

2) It appears the Dems "made a donation" to Rev. Jesse (no, they would never do that!) to keep his yap shut after his diatribe about the Jews and Israel. A little bird told me it was a "nice six-figure donation". This also becomes a matter of how and when to out.

Burton’s email also speaks to an accusation that candidate Barack Obama’s campaign accepted money donations from Russia, while noting that President Bill Clinton’s re-election campaign was alleged to have sought contributions from China to the Democratic National Committee.

Burton said:

3) The hunt is on for the sleezy Russian money into O-mans coffers. A smoking gun has already been found. Will get more on this when the time is right. My source was too giddy to continue. Can you say Clinton and ChiCom funny money? This also becomes a matter of how and when to out.

Stratfor’s Burton is a former Deputy Chief of the Department of State's counterterrorism division for the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS). Besides conducting background checks and investigations of U.S. diplomatic personnel and providing embassy security, the DSS assists the Department of Defense in following leads and doing forensic analysis of hard drives of computers seized by the U.S. government in ongoing criminal investigations.

WikiLeaks has published 973 out of what it says are 5 million internal Stratfor emails (dated between July 2004 and December 2011) obtained by the hacker Anonymous in 2011.

An ill wind that blows no good, Julian Assange provides some interesting insights into the triumph of 'Hope and Change'.

Assange sucks of course,,we all hate him here. BUT he sure keeps revealing things that our government has NO right to conceal from us. This SOB McCain had proof that Obama stuffed ballot boxes,, and he HID it from us. That activity is very close to tripping the violent overthrow reset button.
If the ballot box is corrupted,,it follows that you can’t vote them out, and all you are left with is force.

OK, so where is this smoking gun? Clearly nothing ever came of it. Typical gutless GOP.

Obama beat McCain by 192 electoral votes, 365 to 173.

Pennsylvania and Ohio would only combine for 41 electoral votes in 2008, which by themselves is not enough to make it a contest.

>>> "Did Democrats hack the 2008 Obama election?" <<<

A dumb question deserves a dumb answer. Therefore, "Is obama a communist?"

personally, I believe the Dem has about a 20% advantage in every election. The slavish devotion of the press gives 10-15% and vote fraud makes up the rest.

The Democrat Party should be criminalized and put on the same status as the Nazi Party.

Taking Ohio and Pennsylvania was touted throughout the nation that night. It made for great propaganda and manipulation. Robocalls in Western states that essentially said it would be better to just go with the crowd and vote 0bama were reported here on FR.

I would like one vote, one time, no reports until it’s all loaded in, like a horse race. You quit taking and making bets. Les jeux sont faits. All this other stuff is cheating.

Who’s got that ol’ bear doin’ his thing in the woods?!! Of course...most progressive candidates win by fraud. Thats why voter turnout in many cities is 110%!!!

BTW...IMHO..this reveals that John McCain, while once an honorable military officer ...is a traitor.

McCain lost PA by nearly 11 pct. Some marginal over-voting in Philly doesn't explain that. And lets face it - Black Democrats couldn't organize a 2 car funeral procession, let alone a systematic and statewide "ballot stuffing", And BTW - where in PA in 2008 were they using paper ballots which were not electronically read? I don't buy this. This is ginned up crap that Stratfor littered their newsletter with to make some foolish subscribers thing they were getting the "insider" treatment.

It doesn’t matter if the fraud was enough to tip Obamas election. Have you ever considered how it affected down ballot posts like senator, congressman,, etc?

And exactly how much provable, deliberate, ballot box stuffing do you think is ok to conceal from us? Exposing it may have weakened Obama enough to prevent Obamacare which only passed by the thinnest of margins.

Your reasoning is poor.

Is there any doubts that dems have been active in voter fraud at least since FDR?

As to 1960, don’t forget LBJ was on that ballot and no one knew cheat better than LBJ.

And don't forget 1963 when LBJ led the coup that killed JFK. The DEMS have lying to a point that Americans are so confused they can't even understand the obvious.

I suspect elections were stolen as far back as the days of “Dewey did it!” Dewey’s claim to fame was going after the mob (Dems anyone?). There was no way the mob was going to allow him the take the Presidency. There is no doubt in my mind that Dewey really DID do it, but the mob took action and stole the election, handing it to harmless Teddy.
