White House clears staff in Colombia scandal

President Obama's chief counsel has concluded that no White House staffers in Colombia were involved in wrongdoing, press secretary Jay Carney said on Monday.
Carney said the counsel looked into the actions of members of the White House advance team as a matter of "due diligence" and that "there have been no specific credible allegations of misconduct."

Are there any White House staffers in Colombia right now?
"involved in wrongdoing...
Define wrongdoing. Is it wrongdoing as defined legally under US law, Colombian law, White House ethics -what?

There were several credible allegations, and probably tangible proof, that misconduct occurred by the White House staff. But, we not going to do a damned thing about it.
