MOBILE, Alabama -- Mobile police need your help to catch a mob that beat Matthew Owens so badly that he's in critical condition.
According to police, Owens fussed at some kids playing basketball in the middle of Delmar Drive about 8:30 Saturday night. They say the kids left and a group of adults returned, armed with everything but the kitchen sink.
Police tell News 5 the suspects used chairs, pipes and paint cans to beat Owens.
Owens' sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. "It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed." Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using "brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on."
Police will only say "multiple people" are involved.
What Parker says happened next could make the fallout from the brutal beating even worse. As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding on the ground, Parker says one of them said "Now thats justice for Trayvon."

They omit ALL RACIAL REFERENCES, even in the video, and seem to be trying to “blame the victim”...sying “it’s unclear what he said to them”...
...leaving open the possibility that he said something “offensive” which would, of course, justify in their minds his being beaten and left for dead.

This is that story: So I found out this morning that my friends brother Matthew Owens was attacked in his own front yard by about 20 to 30 black men. They attacked him with bats, paint cans and bricks. As they left them laying there for dead they told him that was for Trayvon Martin. He is now in the ICU at USA with 13 staples in his head and in critical condition his brain is bleeding. He did not know Trayvon and neither did the guys that beat him up nor did ue deserve it. Why is THIS not considered a “hate” crime?!?! Why is nothing being done for him? Its not on the news or receiving any kind of media attention. I feel this man deserves justice just as much as Trayvon does and they need to take the necessary steps to apprehend these men and bring them to justice for this horrible crime they have committed. Please keep him in your prayers as he is trying to recover. What a sad world we live in that u can’t even be in your own front yard (right off pleasent valley rd. ).....from kristen willie raley

Living in NH, I don't have a lot of opportunity to interact with black people but there are a few in my circle of friends. Unfortunately, when it comes to the possibility of a race war, I'm not convinced that there's enough blacks who are free of the tribal mentality to make a difference. Whites still make up 70% of the population in this country. Whites are also, statistically speaking, the best armed and best trained in the use of firearms. Whites make up a disproportionate percentage of the combat branches in the military, and an overwhelming majority of special forces. While whites may not be as prone to the random acts of crime and animalistic violence that many, ah, urban dwellers are, whites ARE more capable of engaging in purposeful and organized acts of violence, and of consistently continuing in the application of that violence until the enemy is destroyed. Why do you think it was whites who more or less subjugated the rest of the world, until we voluntarily disengaged?
These black radicals like the New Black Panthers who are trying to incite a race war - if they are actually successful, they will have done more to destroy their own people than 500 years of slavery and colonialism ever did.

You're making the classic doesn't-know-much-about-statistics mistake of extrapolating from the group to the individual. While it is true that, ah, certain groups which apparently cannot be named because we don't want to hurt their feelings have an average IQ of 85, something which has been consistently measured for over a century, regardless of what test is used and regardless of how many efforts are made to make the tests culturally and racially neutral, it nevertheless does not follow that specific individuals within this group will have IQs of 85.
