MetroWeekly.com is exposing the whole truth that Washington Post would not reveal:
Mitt Romney’s campaign tonight announced that it has hired Richard Grenell, an out gay former George W. Bush administration official, to serve as the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s “national security and foreign policy spokesman,” according to a report from The Washington Post that did not mention Grenell’s sexual orientation.
Grenell served through September 2008 in the Bush administration as a spokesman to the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations — and told The Advocate‘s Kerry Eleveld as he left the administration that it was his hope that New York would have marriage equality soon and that he would one day be able to marry his partner, Matt Lashey. The couple has been together 10 years. . . .
Andrew Sullivan, who had endorsed Obama’s 2008 run, wrote of the news, “For Romney to have an openly gay spokesman is a real outreach to gay Republicans, a subtle signal to moderates, and the Santorum faction’s reaction will be worth noting.”
Grenell is not just gay, but a gay activist who pushes for same-sex marriages.
At the end of Grenell’s service in the Bush administration, he took a notable whack at the administration, telling The Advocate‘s Kerry Eleveld of his effort to have his partner, Matt Lashey, listed in the United Nations’ Blue Book, which is “a reference guide of contact information for different member states of the United Nations as well as diplomatic personnel and their spouses.”
Grenell had attempted to have Lashey’s name added several times, to no avail. He told The Advocate back in 2008, “What put me over the edge was a friend and colleague who met her spouse after I was already with my partner — they got married and subsequently were put into the Blue Book in a matter of days.”
The State Department eventually told him that the Defense of Marriage Act prevented the listing. Although he protested the decision behind the scenes, Lashey’s name was not ever added, which led to his coming forward to criticize the treatement publicly as he left his post.
HuffPost has noted that since the choice, Grenell has scrubbed his Twitter account and website of offensive material...

Operation “Shake the Etch-A-Sketch” has begun.
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
The term is “homosexualist”.
More precisely,” I am whatever you need me to be to vote for me.”
When liberals say “Tolerance”, it is just them telling us we have to compromise because they aren’t going to change.
Newt is not the perfect candidate, but I would crawl on broken glass for a mile to vote for Newt over either Romney or Obama.
Not only is Romney NOT the "perfect" candidate, but he is more liberal than Clinton and Kerry and is probably liberal on a par with both Obama and Gore.
Romney will be a disasterous candidate. Our only hope is to galvanize those who identify with the Tea Party and true constitutional conservatives and vote for the Conservative party candidate.
Have you noticed that Romney is not even pretending to be trying to win conservatives to his side. He is mainly going after the same people who voted for Obama in 2008. IOW if he is elected President, it is liberals and other idiots who will be the ones whose vote puts him over the top. Sure he will get some conservative votes, but not because he cares about them, but because he thinks they will vote for him because he has a "R" next to his name.
I’ll take that as a “no”.
Would you receive a blood transfusion from a random homosexual of your blood type?
If they kept it in their bedrooms instead of hijacking education with gay BS, if they didn’t have naked pride parades in public, if they didn’t have gay groups at work, if they weren’t trying to redefine marriage to something it’s NEVER been, if they were not hooking up for anonymous sex in public parks, then there would be no problem.
I have no idea what country you are living in.
Just fyi, my last response was really towards the person you were responding to.
I sincerely doubt it really bothers you because you are still posting on stupid.
Virgil Goode is a lifelong conservative with a higher conservative rating than anyone who ran this year.
He is the Constitution Party candidate. He is a way to vote and maintain integrity.
A vote for Romney is a vote for the demise of America.
If Newt gets out, then Goode is Best.
And that is possible because he isn’t an activist, militant homosexual. Blatantly requiring total societal acceptance and adulation. And many are not activist/militant, but also note many do not mind the gay activists pushing the boundaries for all gays.
I forwarded your request to be banned upward. I want you to feel relieved from this lynching.
Grenells hiring is an attack on the pro-family community because the homosexual agenda” represents the single greatest threat to religious liberty in America today... and is a big gain for the homosexual lobby.
This appointment of a gay activist to Romney should surprise no-one. They were all warned...and there will be more to come as well. And Romney’s not even in office yet! Just wait if he gets this....he’s already showing his “Obama Colors”.....and I bet money people will still vote for either of these creeps!
What about God’s rights being violated? He’s clearly against homosexuality. You say you care about God, what about these people publicly flaunting their behavior that you know violates God’s law? They are violating His law, don’t you care they are shoving their disrespect in His face? Especially when they do it in the street, or demand the state declare their sin a “right”?
What? You chime in to chastise me when your not spoken to then you cant trace back 2 posts?
If he wins this Presidential race...folks are going to be fully surprised who should have known better than to support this creep Romney....he's as vile as Obama and showing his Obama 'colors' with this appointment....imagine when he starts voting Scotus!
I find it difficult. :o)
Same reason it has always been - blackmail. People of questionable character and behaviors are always a higher security risk. I would know.
