... the Obama campaign in North Carolina – a major battleground in the 2012 election – faces a tough task as it seeks to capture the fickle youth vote that flocked to the polls in record numbers four years ago. A Harvard Institute of Politics national poll released Tuesday shows Obama with a 43 percent to 26 percent advantage against presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney among 18- to 29-year-old likely voters.

This is the scariest number for Obama but you will not hear him his campaign and the media talk about it. The number is 7%. It would only takes 7% of those who voted for Obama in 2008 to either stay home or vote for Romney and Obama would be defeated. In many battleground states the numbers would be even less than 7%.

Obama won North Carolina in 2008 by 15,000 votes. There is no way he is going to win it again in 2012.

Who do they mean by youth? As in Juvenile convicts?

It’s school, you don’t get convicted, you don’t even have to study, you can cheat, there is no markets and no morality to hold toward your boss, you can be a f@g, a feminist stalker, a dady’s little gangster, a snob bearing false witness on others at churches, synagogues and campuses, simply because a convict always looks to convict or shame someone, Obama style... no consequences...

Now, to boot, Romney is coming to finance and cover up the thing, having a new age Mormon perversion past of his own into homosexuality... the GOP-E covering up the crimes of the communists like in China...

WOw, isn’t AMerica and the world just great? I mean, all those unions, government thugs, teachers, all emulating little f@g Lenin and Trotzky of school dean “legacy”... No more 911 or terror, it’s Berkley’s love police with a special cop and plannedparenthood unit making sure Fluke and all get preprogrammed from the get go with free condoms without the Catholic CHurch’s interference etc... because the gangsters outside the school sitting on the side walks eye candy themselves watching the girls who feel cute and all... and those little f@g boyz love the attention too...

So, Obama it is

Revolution, here we come.

These are the apolitical independent voters. IMO our only hope is that they simply don't show up to vote next November. The "nonpartisan" media -- and not just the MSM -- but entertainment media, virtually dictate how apolitical voters vote. No doubt in my mind that there are way more "nonpartisan" media that favor the Left than favor the Right.

The opinions about Obama, Democrats, and Republicans are mine.

I am not talking about this "dealignment trend" and the emergence of what Russell Dalton called the Apartisan American. That is the independent voter. I am talking about his fourth category.

Dalton id'd four categories. The first two have greater political savvy and "are best viewed as either cognitive partisans or apartisans, depending upon partisan attachments." I understand apartisan to mean that they pay attention but they do not ID with a political party.

A third category has lower interest and skills and is categorized as ritual partisans. That kind used to vote for everyone in the Party with just one mark. That's the way I interpret it.

The apolitical independent is who I am talking about. Everything they hear will come from the only media they know, the "nonpartisan" media and rarely is there any thing "nonpartisan" on much of that media.

The GOP or superpaks need to run ads on pop radio stations, tv channels the youth like, and magazines - including guitar and rock magazines that ask the kids, do you have a job? can you afford to vacation or golf? Obama has gone golfing over 90 times since he was elected. He has spent (whatever the amunt) on (X) number of vacations. Wouldn't you like to be able to go to Brazil, Hawaii, Spain, India, Mexico, (continue the list)

If the left wants class warfare, we can easily give it to them by using the vacationer-n-chief and his mooching wife. Grief, even I am jealous and angry. I would like to be able to take my kids a few hours away to Florida, but can't afford it.

For the youth vote or suppression of their vote, keep the message simple. Show how "the King" is living and emphasis how they and their friends are not.

“Youth vote” = pandering to the youthful disregard for the fact that you’ve got to “pay your dues” before you can have “all that stuff that the old farts have”.

A real easy target for the GOP are simple and subtle Facebook ads. Have a picture of Obama Golfing and a list of his and Mooches vacations, golf outings and parties. Then ask, how many vacations have you had in your life?

Yes, excellent idea, but you are being intelligent and proactive. Our GOP is dead lazy and passive. Every time I hear Mitch McConnel or Boehner speak I wonder how in hell they have stayed awake long enough to eat breakfast and get to their offices.

the “I’ll wipe out your student loan balance” speech in September should reverse that trend...

Even kids realize...albeit slowly, he sucks.

When the little brain-washed Marxists on college campuses are losing enthusiasm for 'their' president, you know he's sucking. To quote Homer Simpson: "He's the suckiest suck that ever sucked."

Hope and change don’t pay as well as jobs, and most these kids don’t want to move to Mexico to work.
