I am "Divorcing" the GOP-E and "Republican Party" effective TODAY!
Tomorrow, I will be going to my hometown town hall and making the change to indy. Done with the GOP-e.

I live in MA where you can be a Democrat, a Republican,
or an “Unenrolled”. The last one means you can choose
either ballot in a primary. In the past after getting a ballot
of one party or the other, you would have to go to a table
and sign something to change back. Not any more, no need.
In 2004 I was able to vote against John Kerry TWICE (first
time, John Edwards...ha). The unenrolleds in MA outnumber
the Republicans. They may even outnumber Democrats.

Just reading what a lot of these posters are saying and you'd get the impression you were talking to the GOP-E, Senate and House leadership............. the Republican politicians that have made an art form out of rolling over rather than fighting thereby causing us to be in the positon this country now finds itself. With all the information out there on Romney the people, including some of our posters, choose to remain willfully ignorant of what will happen in the long run should Romney (in the unlikely event) get the presidency. Kiss the conservative movement goodbye because he'll be the head of the Republican party and all appointments thereto! Concentrating on getting Conservatives in the House and Senate is a far better move than chancing a Romney presidency.
As has been said, in the choice the lesser of two evils you still have evil no matter how much lipstick you put on that sucker! Let'r rip!

In reality, Hussein only has as much power as we allow him to have. He is like the Wizard of Oz, a small man hiding behind a curtain.
There are ways to stop him, to restrict his intent to destroy our country, should he get reelected.
The conservative Supremes will simply have to hunker down and close ranks in the event of such a disaster. They’ll know they have to stay healthy and cannot leave, unless by illness or death, of course. 2016 is not that far off.
Let’s look at what we can do: We can help elect conservatives to Congress and the Senate, hopefully replacing many of the GOP Rinos who are there now.
The GOP-E will be ineffective and devastated after a Romney loss..and this will leave room for a Conservative uprising from WE THE PEOPLE..the likes of which we have never seen, if we take up the torch.
No one president,entity, organization or bureaucracy should have the capacity to overcome us and allow us to live in a state of constant terror and anxiety.
We cannot allow ourselves to be dictated to by an empty administration, an inept party or stupid entitlement drones who vote the wrong way.
We can do this. After defeat comes victory and the sun will shine again.
There are times in peril, when all men are put into a situation of making a choice between two unthinkable situations. Civil war;shooting your brother or be shot by your brother. The man in the mountains trapped; the only way to escape is to cut off a limb, or wait for death.
Only the defeated man will do nothing or commit suicide.
The undefeated executes the risk and reward formula then makes his choice.

I feel your pain. The Republican Party is responsible for my change of heart. No long will I pull the straight ticket lever.......I’ll vote issues and vote for those who have my best interest at heart......those who will not take me for granted like the Pubs have in the past.

We are not convinced that things will be better under a Romney Presidency. Matter of fact, we are now convinced that things will NOT be better. We believe both main parties are working in unison to alter forever the America that we Conservatives have loved. We resist.
I’ll vote against O whatever happens.
But if Romney is the best the Repubs have to offer, I’m no longer a Repub. I also will re-register as a Conservative. Period.

We don’t have an “Independent” option in Texas. At a primary election, one either votes in the Democrat primary or the Republican primary and that makes one either a Democrat or a Republican on the record. The person’s voter card is stamped Democrat or Republican when the person votes in the primary. One can think “I’m an Independent”, but the record and voter card shows either Democrat or Republican.
More like “Liberal” vs “Liberal Lite”.
As my tagline says, The Republican Party is bigger than the presidency.
I’m not leaving the Republican Party. I go back and forth on what I’ll be doing in November, but the party is bigger than Mitt Romney and bigger than the presidency. I’m not going to punish the Tim Walbergs because I don’t like Mitt.

The goal is not to elect a Constitution Party candidate. The goal is making a recorded vote for none of the main party candidates. It’s an option to not voting at all for President.
