I am "Divorcing" the GOP-E and "Republican Party" effective TODAY!
Tomorrow, I will be going to my hometown town hall and making the change to indy. Done with the GOP-e.
Sounds like an honorable plan. Agreed then.
“He only got to where he is because of Daddy’s money.”
I thought his father’s estate was given entirely to charity, and Romney made his money himself. Even if he did inherit money...so what? Are you saying we should have a death/estate tax of 100%?
I live in MA where you can be a Democrat, a Republican,
or an “Unenrolled”. The last one means you can choose
either ballot in a primary. In the past after getting a ballot
of one party or the other, you would have to go to a table
and sign something to change back. Not any more, no need.
In 2004 I was able to vote against John Kerry TWICE (first
time, John Edwards...ha). The unenrolleds in MA outnumber
the Republicans. They may even outnumber Democrats.
(Checking) Hmm. yes. As of 2010:
>>Secretary of State William Galvin announced Wednesday that 4.15 million people were registered to vote in next weeks party primaries.
Of that, 1.5 million are Democrats, or 37 percent of the total. Another 471,000 are Republicans, equalling 11.4 percent of the total. And 2.1 million or 51.4 percent are unenrolled in any party.
Let me repeat that:
UNENROLLED: 51.4 %
And people vote with their wallets and pocketbooks.
“So when he wins; you have forfeited your right to bitch about it.”
Just who the hell do you think you are???
Because we don’t vote for YOUR socialist, WE don’t get to say anything about what happens?
Go suck eggs, you Rino bootlicker.
You know RitaOK, you're correct! All though HE works in mysterious ways, I also do believe that G_D has turned us over to our reprobate minds and we are no longer his client nation.
Just reading what a lot of these posters are saying and you'd get the impression you were talking to the GOP-E, Senate and House leadership............. the Republican politicians that have made an art form out of rolling over rather than fighting thereby causing us to be in the positon this country now finds itself. With all the information out there on Romney the people, including some of our posters, choose to remain willfully ignorant of what will happen in the long run should Romney (in the unlikely event) get the presidency. Kiss the conservative movement goodbye because he'll be the head of the Republican party and all appointments thereto! Concentrating on getting Conservatives in the House and Senate is a far better move than chancing a Romney presidency.
As has been said, in the choice the lesser of two evils you still have evil no matter how much lipstick you put on that sucker! Let'r rip!
Lisa Murkowski wasn’t enough of a clue?
GOP = FAIL
I would so vote for Zombie Reagan, but until then ABO.
Obama is probably laughing his skinny arse off daily..to know how much power we all have given him.
His name is mentionned a thousand times a minute by talk show hosts, the media and us here at FR...not to mention thousands of other pundits, authors, etc.
And any and all discussions are always couched in fear.
For him, Val, Moochie and Axelrod, the constant anxiety ridden rants must provide feelings of ecstacy to feed their narcissistic cravings. And they are most likely in awe of how their vapid, empty, evil machinations have taken hold of the electorate.
In reality, Hussein only has as much power as we allow him to have. He is like the Wizard of Oz, a small man hiding behind a curtain.
There are ways to stop him, to restrict his intent to destroy our country, should he get reelected.
The conservative Supremes will simply have to hunker down and close ranks in the event of such a disaster. They’ll know they have to stay healthy and cannot leave, unless by illness or death, of course. 2016 is not that far off.
Let’s look at what we can do: We can help elect conservatives to Congress and the Senate, hopefully replacing many of the GOP Rinos who are there now.
The GOP-E will be ineffective and devastated after a Romney loss..and this will leave room for a Conservative uprising from WE THE PEOPLE..the likes of which we have never seen, if we take up the torch.
No one president, entity, organization or bureaucracy should have the capacity to overcome us and allow us to live in a state of constant terror and anxiety.
We cannot allow ourselves to be dictated to by an empty administration, an inept party or stupid entitlement drones who vote the wrong way.
We can do this. After defeat comes victory and the sun will shine again.
There are times in peril, when all men are put into a situation of making a choice between two unthinkable situations. Civil war;shooting your brother or be shot by your brother. The man in the mountains trapped; the only way to escape is to cut off a limb, or wait for death.
Only the defeated man will do nothing or commit suicide.
The undefeated executes the risk and reward formula then makes his choice.
Those are the survivors.
Those are the ones that Darwin rewards with preservation of their gene pool.
Those are the ones that are superior to them that would do nothing or commit suicide.
Premier Romneykov and Chairman Obamakov are the choices you have been given.
Now, will you be Rewarded by Darwin, or Awarded by Darwin?
“Just never, ever whine about how Obama ruined your job, retirement, medical insurance, “
Well, don’t you ever whine about how Romney ruined yours, then.
A vote for Mr. Goode is a vote for Obama. Sorry, but true.
This is pratical poltics we’re talking about, not a CCD class.
I feel your pain. The Republican Party is responsible for my change of heart. No long will I pull the straight ticket lever.......I’ll vote issues and vote for those who have my best interest at heart......those who will not take me for granted like the Pubs have in the past.
If He would turn away from His chosen nation Israel, banishing them at least twice, why not America as a nation? Rhetorical.
But He has promised never to forsake His children utterly. And His children are everywhere, even in America. We have His unbreakable promises and our marching orders.
same here..I am voting AGAINST Obama, not FOR Romney. But I am pulling the lever for Romney, for that reason alone.
That is your privilege and right. And no Conservative on Free Republic will try to make you feel guilty for doing so.
Disagree. Not necessarily true.
And I you, if Obama wins again, if our side doesn’t even turn out to vote, or votes 3rd party.
Once again, you are attempting to tell me how to vote. You have control over one vote, Hodar: your own.
And it’s you who is having the temper tantrum for not having your way with us.
A vote for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil. I WILL NOT VOTE FOR EVIL.
Even if every Freeper voted for Mitt, Obama still wipes the floor with him.
I’m not voting for either democrat. PERIOD
I think it boils down to this for me and some other Conservatives on FR:
We are not convinced that things will be better under a Romney Presidency. Matter of fact, we are now convinced that things will NOT be better. We believe both main parties are working in unison to alter forever the America that we Conservatives have loved. We resist.
I’ll vote against O whatever happens.
But if Romney is the best the Repubs have to offer, I’m no longer a Repub. I also will re-register as a Conservative. Period.
Not much better, admittedly but Osama Obama will literally FINISH OFF this country in the next four years whereas Romney isn't likely to do so.
If you dont help get Obama out of office. You have zero right to bitch and complain for the next four years no matter how bad he makes it and what ludicrous stuff he pushes on us by executive order. Thats the facts.
If you believe voting for a party that most Americans have never heard of - and expect its candidate to win, well, that’s a political pipedream.
A Romney victory means that the socialists’ takeover of both parties is now complete.
And Osama Obama only got where *he* is thanks to Soros's money.
Disagree with your premise. I forsake no rights in voting my conscience.
And Bill Ayers.
No need to apologize. We just disagree; that’s all.
P.S. I am stealing that for taglines in the future, if that ok.
If he’s like me, he already did that last time and look what we got. Romney himself will kill off his own voter turnout.
We are going to have another McCain event if something does not happen at the convention.
Seems that way to me enough to take a stand to resist and not to suffer any more coerced voting for every Republican Presidential candidate the GOP offers.
We don’t have an “Independent” option in Texas. At a primary election, one either votes in the Democrat primary or the Republican primary and that makes one either a Democrat or a Republican on the record. The person’s voter card is stamped Democrat or Republican when the person votes in the primary. One can think “I’m an Independent”, but the record and voter card shows either Democrat or Republican.
More like “Liberal” vs “Liberal Lite”.
As my tagline says, The Republican Party is bigger than the presidency.
I’m not leaving the Republican Party. I go back and forth on what I’ll be doing in November, but the party is bigger than Mitt Romney and bigger than the presidency. I’m not going to punish the Tim Walbergs because I don’t like Mitt.
One has to seriously ask this, given his picks for the MA courts.
Thank you, Resettozero.
The goal is not to elect a Constitution Party candidate. The goal is making a recorded vote for none of the main party candidates. It’s an option to not voting at all for President.
Maybe not his money since he made his money, but his influence and networks sure helped. Cranbrook isn't cheap.
Yeah, just don’t think about it, just vote for turd sandwich. I mean, come on, you can’t vote for giant douche. He’s a giant douche!
That will only help re-elect Mr. Obama. Lousy goal.
Bye Bye McCain/Rino BOOTLICKER!
