Not as uncomplicated as merely stalled. The count on Monday night was just under 800,000. Posted the following on the Rush thread today.:

Either the YouTube counter is malfunctioning, OR they are suppressing the count.

Monday night when I watched it and emailed it out, the count was pushing 800,000.

Tuesday noon, when I posted to Rush if he had seen the video, the count was 295,089.

Today (Wed) Drudge carried the YouTube link all morning under the mysterious headline (major, featured large-type headline) “’ECONOMIC SUICIDE PACT’...”

As of 11am this morning (Wed), the count was 517,412. Highly dubious. Hundreds of thousands of people have gone to that video this morning alone from the Drudge page.

As I type (2:30pm), the count now stands at 517,844-— still significantly under the view-count of nearly 800,000 that was registered on YouTube Monday night-—even though the video had been highlighted or embedded in

Now, it has been mentioned by Rush, and the counter still has not moved one unit.

It has gone viral, but we will never know the true count.

Puh-leeze. What does that even mean? Does everyone remember that YouTube video of that father shooting his daughter's laptop? The one praised by conservatives and common-sense parents everywhere? That video has nearly 33 MILLION views...now THAT is something worthy of the term 'mega-viral'.

This video is one of the best of its kind, and SHOULD be seen by every American. Of course; unless it is broadcast during the halftime of the Super Bowl; that isn't going to happen. But we sure as hell can make an honest effort to spread this video around to as many people as possible. The 'dead laptop' video shows that you can reach MILLIONS on YouTube. Can Americans push this video up to 33 million viewers? Can we keep this in front of American viewers until Election Day?

Jus’ sayin’; I have learned not to pay too much attention to the counters on YouTube. It is clear that a LOT of people are seeing this. I doubt anyone skips it because it “Only” has half a million views.

I’d use their schools to teach one generation of Americans that their factories and their cars will cause a new ice age… …and I’d muster a straight face so I could teach the next generation that they’re causing global warming. When it’s cold out, I’d call it climate change, instead. I’d imply that America’s cities and factories could run on wind power and wishes. I’d teach children how to ignore the hypocrisy of condemning logging, mining, and farming…while having roofs over their heads, heat in their homes, and food on their tables. I would never teach children that the free market is the only force - in human history - to uplift the poor, establish the middle class, and create lasting prosperity. Instead, I’d demonize prosperity itself, so they will not miss…what they will never have.

Thank you, public schools...wake up, parents. Schools are NOT your friend...

Yeah, I think I’m waking up. Daydreaming of how conservatives can use the twitter mob concept to shake things up. Protest designed to throw them just a little off balance...give them what the Spartans called the Phobos, the feeling all is not right, that they should double-lock their doors and check under the beds.

That’s when the enemy begins spending more energy than you. That’s the little victory you take home each day when you know the enemy hopelessly outnumbers you and you must dig in for the long haul like a conservative viet cong with the same endurance and singlemindedness.

When a conservative protester is arrested and they ask him for i.d. he should answer “liberty”. And when the King has decided on how to swat the fly, make him overextend himself, as in judo, and make sure he always lands on the wrong side of public opinion...the zeitgeist is there for the taking, if enough sleepers have awakened.

Right now I’m investigating this chemical that replicates skunk smell, but hundreds of times more concentrated. A few drops will clear a building and make it unusable for weeks, unless you ptofessionally clean it top to bottom. I’m trying to find a place I can buy some. In bulk.
