I never acquired a taste for his type of music...in fact last time I listened to him, was sometime in the early 70’s, after my roomates and I had “reached cosmic awareness” as I recall ;-)

There is a book on misheard lyrics.
My misheard lyric is from “Another One Rides (the Bus) and I swear he says “I'm adopted”. EVERYONE disagrees with the “I'm adopted” but each time I hear it, I saw “see, listen - he says “I'm adopted”.
