Or there will be a new American revolution should Obama win.

Thank you for your reply. I do believe our conversation has gone about as far as it can.

I plan to vote for >anybody but Obama. I will vote for the Republican candidate = ‘God willing & the creek don’t rise. or Come Hell or high water!’ I will NOT waste my vote.

My Priest said, ‘Obama gave our Bishops the finger!’

Luke6: 22, “Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.”

Luke10: 3, “Go on your way; behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves.”

I will vote for the Republican candidate =

Which, if it's Romney means the pro homo, pro baby killer guy. Don't bring God into this, because you've clearly turned your back on Him.

"But my hands are only a little bloody." Won't cut it on Judgement Day.

Katie, the RNC could care less if we fight them or not. This is all pre-determined long before the public is involved.....we simply are the road bumps they anticipate get in their way and have no difficulty getting around us...just as we've seen.

Until we have the ability to focus ahead on “their ‘next’ move,” before it's played, we will not stand a chance of defeating their goals.

Watching Newt in this you could see him attempting to do just that. Romney had a ‘full court’ on the ground and behind the scenes for 8yrs. and the financial backing to make it happen. He also had many powerful leaders with the ability and means to strong arm any who resisted or got in their way.....while they make a point to keep us otherwise occupied on stupid trivial issues the media runs with.

We have to know their game plans and we don't...those who do and fight behind the scenes have to be very careful who they inform...which therefore we seldom know the plays ahead of time...but we have to learn how to “see” them or the possibilities.

Who would have guessed Romney would proclaim the win before the NRC without the delegates? I doubt if many could have called that one, but it cut off at the knees the push for convention pretty much....that and ‘slick Ricky’ dropping out so Romney could go for that gold unencumbered...... otherwise Rick would have had no choice but to object to Romney's going before the RNC...Santorum was in Romney's court “before” he dropped out without a doubt, so Romney could make this play before the RNC.

Bottom line is ‘Santorum’ was the cog they put in the wheel from anyone other than Romney crossing the finish line...most especially Newt....

The race was between Newt and Romney...Santorum was the moving target to distract attention, and funding, and hold voters captive so Romney could run with the ball... It worked.

This year’s election can be summed up with the following question:

Who will do more damage to America? Four more years of fast socialism opposed by the house (and hopefully the senate) or Eight years of slow socialism that is unopposed due to party loyalty.

I’ll NEVER vote for that dirty scum bag liar.

Having continued to look even deeper at Romney and his organizations powerful leadership...we are in for a whole lot more than what even Obama might imagine.

"A ravenous wolf in sheeps clothing" hardly says enough...our candidates only got a taste of what this man has behind him to make things happen his way.....and he'll do so behind the scenes while he projects his concern for this nation.

Remember Romney barely made any coherent plans or statements to the public about why he wanted to be President or how he would change the trajectory of this country....because basically his primary objective is to BE President, and that with a Globalist intention in mind..of our nations roll in funding the One World Financial Agenda.

Obama has set the third world countries in motion...and Romney will now do so with Europe and the more wealthy countries. Especially since he has people on the ground Internationally....IMO Romneys a socialist in drag....

No worries, mate. I think we are like-minded in regard to Romney. And many of the "vote for any body but Obama" crowd have their barbs out for us as we reveal Romney's Obama-like tendencies. So it's no big deal. Keep up the good fight.

You make a strong argument FRiend, and I admit I agree with you on many points. The notion I hold that Romney might govern from the center-right is admittedly as much about hopes for “half a loaf” as it is politics. Nothing’s guaranteed, except that conservatives have a rough four years ahead of them, no matter who wins.

Good post, btw.

I see your point, and I agree to an extent. I had to hold my nose to vote for McCain in 2008 (only the presence of Palin made it easier), and I would not condemn any FReeper who refuses to support Romney. I have no doubt that Romney would have more than a little bit of “squishy socialism” in his administration’s policies.

The fear I have is that with a second Obama term, it will be far worse. I agree that it gives we conservatives a rallying point to oppose his agenda. I think we’ll see the results of that even this year in the House and Senate elections. I’m just not sure it will be enough.

The economy will eventually improve, and if things get better, Obama will benefit from it. Stalling the agenda of a President with a 47% rating is a lot easier than one with a 60%+ rating. If his public approvals rebound, Obama may be able to push through proposals that he otherwise could not have gotten done.

I also have doubts about the Senate. The overwhelming support for Sotomayor and Kagan (68-13 and 63-37, respectively), gives me the willies at the thought of and second term Obama SCOTUS nominations.

That’s all just my opinion, of course. I certainly see where you’re coming from as well, and respect that view.

Heh, fair point. I was thinking more along the lines of Club for Growth, Tea Partiers and what not, but I get what you mean.

Without a doubt I share those willies, FRiend! Nothing, and I do mean *nothing*, good comes of a second Obama term. However, nothing good will come of four or eight years of Romney either. Having the republicans rubber stamp Romney's liberal agenda because he's "on our team" makes the slide into socialism even easier for him than Obama -- and it makes "our team" to blame for the failing. And as for the Supreme Court ... I take my lead from what Romney has already done to the courts in his home state. Have a read : Romney’s Record on Judicial and Legal Appointments: Can he be trusted as President to appoint conservatives to the Courts and Justice Department?. I expect he will do the same to Supreme Court *with* the full support of "our team" in Congress. That does not make him "as bad as" Obama ... it makes him "worse".

Thank you for your reply.

& I know the ‘so true’ was for the Priest. +Your comment in praise of the Priest caused all the Angels in Heaven to sing the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.

I have never heard a Priest say anything like that before in a Homily. The Priest wasn’t angry. He just described what happened so people would understand it. (& so I wouldn’t have a lengthy argument with people on freerepublic.)

The Hymn the Angels sing for me is “Dias Irae” (Day of Wrath). It’s currently on YouTube as “Gregorian Chant -Dias Irae.”

Romney may come in center right because he’ll have to come thru on his IOU’S. He’ll likely unpug the pipes just enough for a trickle to come thru and give a false sense of hope to businesses and the public. But it will assuredly be short lived....

Also he’ll impliment programs and such which do exactly as Obamas do but with a different name to appeal to the uninformed...and enough tweaking to make them look less formidable. But they will be one and the same.

The problem with Romney is his platform is the same as Obamas, just with a different name and a great deal of deception which will push it thru. At least with Obama we know what he’s up to...and can fight him.

I’m very much concerned the Republicans will see this as a win and not be on their toes....thus Romney will move his personal hidden agenda...there won’t be any resistance.

One of the biggest complaints among this group was that Santorum was a social conservative who truly meant it and wasn't giving it lip service, and he was given nicknames like "Saint Rick".

Probably Libertarians who wish for morally devoid anarchy as much as leftists wish for morally devoid tyranny. To the extreme right anarchists ANY social order is to be avoided. To the extreme left socialists ONLY their social order is allowed. To both, a man like Santorum and all he represents is their enemy.
