Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.
I have an absolute POS in my chain of command that loves that phrase.

I don't think anyone disagrees that was a bad move on Perry's part. But he acknowledged it was a poor choice of words. He apologized genuinely, and often. But no one wanted to accept it. Now look where we are.

Completely agree. While lurking, CW was largely responsible for educating me about Rick Perry. I signed up to post, after three years of lurking, to make it one more against the jackals. The low point, IMO, was reached when one person accused Perry of being gay.
You do know you’re acting like a very badly behaved child. I think you’re picking a fight just to pick a fight.
I started out really not particularly liking Perry at all.
One day I shut up because I had to give him a lot of credit for handling a really bad situation with humor and grace. He also backed out with same grace that I could never attribute to Newt Gingrich.
I don’t know if it was the back surgery or what, but he could have done far better. He seemed unable to fight at the time.
Maybe someone was looking out for him, who can say?

Yes, we have $6,000+ set aside for new equipment. That was half of what we estimated was needed. We may go for less or we may finance the difference and pay for it monthly out of our regular operating budget. Either way, we’ll git ‘er done. Thank you very much!!

Maybe Cain wasn’t cheating, maybe he wasn’t. The first woman was a setup, no question, but when the second one came along-—the one he supported for years without telling his wife? Even if he didn’t cheat, that was not kosher.
Either way, I lost all respect for him when he started making accusations against Perry, saying he was responsible for his (Cain’s)problems, jumping on the racial bandwagon about that stupid rock, and then saying the only candidate he couldn’t support was Perry. Cain owed the man an apology. A decent, standup guy would have done it. Cain didn’t.

At this point it doesn’t make much difference who wins the presidential election, and some in America want to do something about it besides this bogus vote on Nov. 6th, maybe do something at the GOP convention in Florida, there really is no GOP anymore, mainly because they do not know , or refuse to acknowledge, just WHAT the nation is facing.
