Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

Only recently have I been called a troll. It's a lot like RINO...if somebody doesn't agree with somebody else, they're called a troll or RINO.

For those who live in the majority of states where the results of the general election are not in question, write in the true conservative of your choice. This will send the desired message to the establishment.

For those who live in the swing states that will decide the election, (Florida, Ohio, New Hampshire, Penn., etc) vote straight Republican ticket. This will ensure that Obama isn’t reelected and that the Supreme Court isn’t packed with liberal nutcases for the next 40 years.

I have been following these threads closely, even though I have not posted regularly. Nobody has been zotted for saying that they will vote Romney in the general. To imply that people got zotted for saying that they will vote for Romney, is trying to be a rabble rouser and trouble maker on this forum.

Well, my friend, it appears you have some serious issues with the way I run FR and the goals I’ve set for this site. If you do not know by now that I am pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty, etc, and that the abortionist/homosexualist/statist Mitt Romney will never be acceptable to me as a presidential candidate then you’re nuts. And if you think I’m going to open up FR as an all inclusive, big tent abortionist/homosexualist/statist site just to increase our hits you’re doubly nuts. And if you think I would do any of the above for money you’re triply nuts.

My positions on God, life, family, liberty and country are non-negotiable and not open to debate. They are what they are and they’re posted on our front page and at the top of every index page: “Welcome to Free Republic, America’s exclusive site for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty conservatives!”

You must’ve seen this when you registered and or when you login every day, so if you wish to walk some other path, I don’t know why you bother signing in.

So I’ll repeat for your benefit which I’ve posted many times before, if you find FR is not your cup of tea, just move along because we’re not changing it to suit you.

As with all anti-freepers now harping from the peanut galleries, we got a long fine before we met you, we’ll get along fine without you.

No, Jim, I don’t have any hard feelings at all, and I’m not an anti-freeper or retread.

I still love this site and all it has done to help me understand today’s world of politics, and I am not asking you to change your principles. I just question some of this site’s strategy in promoting these principles, and many of my complaints have nothing to do with you or management.

I’ll probably take a long break after posting this and may never come back again, but in the meantime, I sincerely wish you good luck in keeping this site afloat.
