Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

However, there have been many times where both (all) candidates for a particular office were so odious that I could not, in good conscience, vote for any of them.
In those instances, I left that line on the ballot blank.
I will continue that practice.
But my disagreement with your opinion of what to do with your vote is a separate matter from disagreeing with principles as laid down on the home page.
I don’et see why that is so difficult to understand.
Some wounds don’t heal. Words, whether written or spoken are powerful things.
Once spoken you cannot take them back. My Mom used a fence analogy. Everytime you speak a word in anger its like putting a nail in a fence. You can pull the nail out but the hole is still there.
I do too. I just know the NFL made the Cowboys suck this year so they couldnt win the Super Bowl. I heard about it through my foil-radio. But it kept breaking up because the black helicopters from Bildeberger were flying over head.

The dissatisfaction has been building up for me for a long time. That is why I lurked, and stopped donating. This thread shows me that I am not the only one.
Now people are expressing how they feel.

Well, I’ve explained it a million times. We are rebelling against the politics as usual GOP-e who have now gone a RINO too far. In case you have forgotten, Romney is the proud father of RomneyCare and grandfather of ObamaCare which is his illegitimate brain child. Besides being an abortion/gay rights advocate, he’s a big government mandate loving statist who has pushed every evil, anti-liberty position that Obama has pushed. Their records are virtually identical.
The tea party sprang up to rebel against such tyranny and I signed on for the duration. Doesn’t matter to me if the tyranny comes from the dems or the GOP, it’s still tyranny.

I've kept my peace regarding the primary this time around because my opinions weren't welcome. I like Newt but I had serious doubts about his ability to be nominated, and if nominated his ability to beat Obama. I figured expressing doubts about Newt wouldn't be prudent, and besides, I didn't oppose him, and who knew? Maybe he had a shot. One could hope, anyway. But that's water under the bridge.
During the primary conservative supporters of Newt and Santorum were a large contingent, and once it was down to the final four Newt and Rick were absolutely the last conservatives standing.
But now the primary is all but over. No question, anyone who supports Newt or Rick who can vote for them in the remaining primaries (assuming they are still on the ballot) should do so. That is a message worth sending to the RINOs.
But in the general election it's ABO, and the only ABO candidate who can beat O is Mitt. From this and other threads it looks like even here most people share this viewpoint.
But where does that leave FR? Most conservatives desperately want to be rid of Obama and all his evil cronies. It's not about whether Romney is conservative, no one really believes that, it's whether he's as bad as Obama.
I don't think he is. So you can deduce my vote from that.
It's hard to see how FR survives if any support for the only available choice that can beat Obama results in removal.
If nothing changes it's going to be really lonely around here on election day.

Keep telling yourself that principles matter over anything. Principles are important, but if you don’t win elections, your principles and $1 will buy you a burger at McDonald’s.
People who are just as conservative as anyone else are being driven off. Their only offense is that they believe that it is better to have someone who agrees with us 60, 70, or 80% of the time than to have someone like Obama.
Is Mitt the one I wanted? No. I wanted Palin. She didn’t run. Then I wanted Bachmann, then Cain, finally I voted for Santorum. They’re gone. Romney is the nominee and FR is attacking him harder than DU ever has.

How do you interpret “Not going to vote for Romney or Obama” as an attack on Romney? The attacks I’ve seen are mostly against FReepers who are making a moral stand to vote their consciences and not the party line.
They do. Because if one has no principles, one has nothing.
