A Mormon America, Brought To You By Mitt Romney
christiannewstoday ^ | 4/27/10 | By Tricia Erickson, author of the book, “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters?”

Posted on 04/27/2012 4:16:26 PM PDT by Mozilla

If the GOP didn’t hurt us enough by propping John McCain up to be our 2008 nominee, handing us Barack Obama on a silver platter, now, by serving up this horrendous Romney Manchurian Candidate to be our next President, they are further promoting another party member, the “POM”, the “Party of Mormonism”.

We have seen the power of the Mormon voting bloc by way of Romney winning Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Hawaii and Florida, and Utah will be a slam-dunk. We can expect that 90% of the 6 million US Mormons will vote for Romney. According to LDS statistics and church facts, the church currently has 52,483 missionaries on the ground, worldwide, bringing the undiscerning into the sect. With a fraction of this figure of missionaries in the US, hundreds join the church each day.

Just how committed is Mr. Romney to his Mormon faith? Mitt Romney was a graduate of Brigham Young University and a Mormon Missionary. He was promoted twice on his mission to Missionary Zone Leader and Assistant to the Mission President. Mitt also became a Mormon Bishop and later became a Stake President, presiding over a dozen Mormon Churches. You cannot get more Mormon than Mitt Romney.

As President of the United States, Mitt will have less authority than that of the living prophet of his church. He is therefore, no matter his position as leader of this nation, subject to the Mormon infallible Prophet and his orders and mandates, even if those mandates are not in the best interest of our nation.

[snip]

Through Mitt Romney, the Party of Mormon will finally, after struggling for authenticity for their patently false religion, become “main stream” to a fallen nation.

I am a life-long Mormon and given time and opportunity I would be happy to explain why. Trust me,

Oh, please! Mormons lie BIG TIME especially to a non mormon and then add 'trust me' - I'd rather run than walk away.

Mitt is NOT moving to any right - he doesn't know his right from the left. He is a LIBERAL and the LIAR doesn't belong on the GOP ticket. - And his record in MA is more than proof of that.

Your wishful thinking and the old ABO doesn't work on any INFORMED voter.

He has nothing to defeat Barry with - NOTHING and then his media support is gone by that time - the empty suit left out to dry while barry goes and makes mince maggot meat of him for his dogs.

I have my own wisdom, thank you. That's the problem - listen to this one and all his puppets chirp up! Voters being treated like they have no wisdom of their own - only PAID entertainers along with the PAID spineless in the GOP.

My wisdom comes from the GOP doing the same thing for at least 15 years.

They NEVER moved to the right as they are stuck on stupid - and this time - they are truly lost and went way to the left - wisdom says - don't listen to them - NOT ONE MORE TIME.

If so, I'd be stupid, also. I'm not checking in my brains for them - which would be needed to vote for their POS candidate.

Bitterness is like drinking poison and waiting for your enemy to die. Bitterness will kill you. But, then, should that happen, we'd have one less mean-spirited s.o.b. in the world to have to deal with.

Just realized - this is the letter you sent to Romney! You forget to add his backstabbing, he likes blood on his hands. Evil usually does, especially if it is red, white and blue and, not just from America, but it's from Patriots, i.e., Newt and Sarah (which is common knowledge)Bloody Thursday!

“To ‘not’ vote for Romney (as distasteful as he is) is to vote for Obama.”

I have friends who were part of Eastern European underground resistance during World War II. Did they support Hitler by not supporting Stalin? Or did they support Stalin by not supporting Hitler?

Keep dreaming baby!! Keep emoting and exaggerating if that floats your boat. Even if Romney is as liberal as you claim (which he is not)he is a vast improvement over a Marxist Kenyan with his EPA tyranny and collusion with the Muslim brotherhood. Romney gets my vote....Easy. I am sick of Omama and Holder and their bs

I don't know about feeling "better" but it would be more accurate.

One of the reason we have an Obama/Hilary to stand against is the Modern American Christians have become more concerned about not being seen as so called "bigots" instead of standing for what is right...

God's Grace brought forth America, God's disdain for what it has become can bring its' demise...

Muslims attending BYU focus on similarities between Islam, LDS tenets (Deseret News - Dec 2009)
The Islamic Translation Series is designed not only to further scholarship in the study of Islamic philosophy, theology, and mysticism, but, by encouraging the translation of Islamic texts into the technical language of contemporary Western scholarship, to assist in the integration of Islamic studies into Western academia and to promote global perspectives in the disciplines to which it is devoted.
Islamic civilization represents nearly fourteen centuries of intense intellectual activity, and believers in Islam number in the hundreds of millions. The texts that will appear in ITS are among the treasures of this great culture. But they are more than that. They are properly the inheritance of all the peoples of the world.
Brigham Young University and its Institute for the Study and Preservation of Ancient Religious Texts are pleased to sponsor the Islamic Translation Series. In doing so, we hope to serve our fellow human beings, of all creeds and cultures.

Mormons are good citizens, raise good families, believe in keeping out of debt, try to give service where needed. They support scouting with the second largest scout organization in the nation. I joined The Church 58 years ago and have never heard The Saviors name used in vain from an active Mormon. Thousands of church buildings world wide are paid for when they are dedicated. Thirty Thousand, (and growing)
missionaries from third world countries have been advanced money for Education, or job training programs to pull them out of generations of grinding poverty, and it is working. Mitt is not perfect but his lifetime has been filled with good conservative ideas. In the Church we are encouraged to vote, but never how to vote.
I heard a Sacramento, California talk show host, who was 31 years in law enforcement say he never, to his knowledge, ever arrested a Mormon, and wondered about all of the negative talk.
I would invite you to attend a Mormon Sunday service and go to lds.org where you can access our teachings, which are from the scriptures not from other books written by Church members.
Yes, we are different, but we love and worship Jesus Christ and will be judged by Him, John 5:22
I would suggest we follow Matt: 7,2 and judge not.
God bless you.

No the lds jesus is a created being, the Biblical Jesus is eternal - not the same.
Sorry the Bible says we are to judge everything against the Word of God - mormonism fails.
The other stuff you wrote is so far from reality of mormonism as to be laughable.

Ronald Reagan had 16 Mormons in the White House or in his cabinet. He liked Mormons because of their work ethic and their honesty. How can we revere Reagan as a President when he was surrounded by we Evil Mormons??

Harry Reid is a disgrace to The Church. He and his policies are totally out of line with anything Mormons believe in.
Where is the church control? Why isn’t he silenced? Because that is not what is done by Church leadership.

Reid is a temple mormon.
Reid has received awards from BYU and SLC because he is a good example of what mormons should be.
Reagan did not subscribe to mormonism just because there may have been mormons in his cabinet.

I could give a _____ about that magic underware and such ..... I will be voting for anybody but Obama and if that someone is Romney I will zero misgivings about it. You look like you are going to for Obama by either voting for the Vegetarian Party candidate or sitting at home and drinking beer. By the way I'll have a few snorts or two before I pull the lever for Romney but pull the level I will

Nowhere did I say I was going to sit out the election.
I will vote, I will not vote for liberals whether they are an R or a D.
I am a carnivore, I would never vote for a vegetarian party candidate.
As far as beer goes, except for some German styles I do not care for them, now a hearty red wine along with some good cheese you betcha.

I joined The Church 58 years ago and have never heard The Saviors name used in vain from an active Mormon.

Sorry...claims that Jesus appeared to Joseph Smith, is the brother of Satan, that He was conceived by God having sex with Mary, that He was married, that He was a man who "progressed" to godhood...on and on and on....mormonism has taken the name of the Savior "in vain" from the very founding of the mormon sect.

The following was taken from the official LDS genealogy site. The arrogance of claiming that God requires baptism into the mormon church is total blasphemy.
