Romney: My Individual Mandate Health Care Plan Is Conservative
Mitt Romney ^ | March 23, 2010 | CNN

Posted on 04/29/2012 2:16:34 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Romney boasts that his anti-liberty government forced compulsory health insurance plan is "conservative." And he says "all of my positions are conservative." That would be forced/mandated compulsory health insurance (google Reagan on compulsory health insurance for the truth), homosexuals in the military, gun control, liberal judges, TARP, bailouts, too big to fail, the government takeover of GM, stimulus spending, global warming, planned parenthood, abortion, Roe v Wade, homosexual marriage, etc, etc, etc, all of which he has supported or still does.

Conservative my foot. I guess lying is conservative too?

Romney is a total fraud!!

Excellent analogy cripple creek. I do think the Tea Party movement is based on a political revolution but the history of our founders is a wake up call as to why this beautiful country became so powerful and strong. We can't let their sacrifices be wasted.
Thank you for sharing the photo and post. It made my day.

The Examination of Doctor Franklin, before an August Assembly, relating to the Repeal of the Stamp-Act

I just love franklin's final answers.

Q. What used to be the pride of the Americans ?

A. To indulge in the fashions and manufactures of G. Britain.

Q. What is now their pride ?

A. To wear their old cloaths over again, till they can make new ones.

The Colonists were willing to sacrifice for their freedom.

Wise man. Wish we had more like him today. I loved the book Valley Forge and your posts reminded me that I need to read it again.
Yes, we had some real patriots back then. It is inspiring to recall the history.

Okay, I've been pretty quiet, but now I'm throwing the BS flag.

Are you saying Mitt ran to Canada and avoided the draft, or that he took a LEGALLY AVAILABLE deferment?

Unless he took an illegal action to avoid service, he's not a draft dodger. We have enough to not like about him without going there.

No I’m saying Willie Mitty ran to France and avoided the draft...

The first time...

and then he dodged the draft at least one more time...

hes never served out country...

its a family trait...

I don’t have to figure anything out.

The deferments he got were the same deferments available to others on their Mormon missions and in academics.

He registered when his deferments were up and drew a high number, so he ended up not being called.

As far as I’m concerned, this is not an issue.

I’m a grandmother, Nana, not a “kid”.

I have no problem with vetting. It would have been nice if Obama had been properly vetted. But this issue is a waste of time. He didn’t do anything illegal, immoral, or fattening.

Many people have never served our country in the military, Nana. One branch of my family tree were Amish and went to Canada around the time of the civil war to avoid it, returning when the dust settled.

Does that make me personally worthy of scorn on behalf of my ancestors?

For what it's worth, I served. 21 years worth. To me, "draft dodger" means taking an illegal action to avoid service when you are called. That's where I'm coming from.

My ansestors were Loyalists during the revolution...

and I too am a veteran...

but Im talking about NONE of his generations of Romneys ever served...

From the first arriving...

Its unusual for a family to have nobody in some war at sometime...

Civil War
WWI
WWII
Korea
Vietnam
Grenada
Iraq I
Iraq II
Afghanistan

No Romney ever served in the military..

They avoided serving in the US military...

for 7 generations...

For my own family...

I had a 6th great grandfather die in the French Indian War in 1755

His FIL fought in Queen Anns War in 1711

His SIL died in the RW

A 3rd great grandfather fought in the War of 1812

My family lived in New Zealand during the Civil War but a great grandfather fought in the Maori Wars in the 1860s and his son my grandfather fought in the Boer War in Africa

We lost family in WWI and WWII

My brother and I and several cousins served during Nam

“Please explain to me why out of all the governors, conservative republicans and potential gop candidates the establishment opted for the very man that introduced socialized medicine to the USA?”

Because to many bribes were involved in Phony-Care, when declared (planned) unconstitutional, the next attempt will be made by their Mandate-Man to force-mandate it on the states.

So watch for the next propaganda that “we are going to put health-care back to the people, to the local level, to the states.”

Ever get a letter from the state requiring you to sign and date where and who your auto insurance is with? I see this coming with these Phony-Care fascists.

And replace him with who?

That's not the point now! Although, I'm sure Newt would do it. Unfortunately, it's attitudes like yours that give us the GOPe.

We are not stuck with Mitt, we can tell the GOPe to go !@#$%! we will not vote for rinos.
