Women are at greater risk from global warming than men, claims MEP in 'bonkers' EU row

A bizarre row has broken out among EU politicians over whether climate change is a feminist issue.

Members of the European Parliament will vote today on a report by a French Green party MEP who claims global warming ‘is not gender neutral’.

Women, claims Nicole Kiil-Nielsen, ‘consume more sustainably than men and show greater willingness to act to preserve the environment’ as they tend to organise household consumption and childcare.

She said that discrimination against women could be made worse in the developing world if climate policies do not take gender discrimination into account.

She was yesterday subjected to a withering attack from Marina Yannakoudakis, a Tory MEP for London, who called her motion ‘bonkers, baseless and bad for women’.

The report – Women and Climate Change – calls for a 40 per cent female quota on all EU delegations in climate negotiations and on the committees that allocate climate aid from member states. Funding is set to reach £62billion a year by 2020.

Broad stereotyping is double-plus good.

Women care about the earth more than men.
Women are more responsible than men.

But women are emotionally unstable and should not be allowed to hold positions of political power.

Oh. Did I cross the line? Was my stereotype bad? I should just stick with their stereotypes?

I don't think I'll play the game that way.

I am an european and despair at the way Europe is shaping up. Crazy MEPs, islamization of the continent, lose of free speech, technocrats at the elm of the EU to name but a few nightmarish problems.
I shall look at moving to America, if you get rid of Hussein Obama in November. I don´t see the point of moving if he is still in charge, a muslim at he head of America is as bad as in Europe.

I think I’ve located how “global warming” may be a women’s “green” issue - money may be involved.

It’s all part of the republican’s war on women. Use the climate to destroy minorities and women. Then all that will be left are white men (Republicans). Pretty clever, huh?

“Women, claims Nicole Kiil-Nielsen, ‘consume more sustainably than men and show greater willingness to act to preserve the environment’”

Well, if by this she means that women are more gullible in falling prey to global warming hysteria, then I think she is probably correct.

Women are at greater risk from global warming than men

More skin surface, close to the heart, because of big tits, cause overheating of the aorta, which causes more heart attacks among women.

Thank God for big breasted women {and small breasted women}.

Women, claims Nicole Kiil-Nielsen, ‘consume more sustainably than men and show greater willingness to act to preserve the environment’ as they tend to organise household consumption and childcare.

It is manifestly unfair that Nicole Kiil-Nielsen has a double (hyphenated) last name. That is not sustainable. She is depriving poor and minority women by using up a last name that could have gone to them. Besides, every unnecessary use of a hyphen, let along all of those extra vowels and consonants, consumes badly-needed resources and adds to the burden on the environment. We need a law...
